$12k is a lot for a part time job for only 3 months.

With nearly 3 million followers on Twotter alone, she obviously could make more, if she created her own content, did affiliate sales, cammed etc. although some pretty top porn stars tried but just couldn't get the hang of cramming. Those things are a lot of work and, if she decided not to continue in adult, she should be able to make that choice.

If any pornstars talked real numbers, people on Twitter would freak out because, when they knowingly choose not to pay for their porn, they need to believe they are stealing from the wealthy. Fans don't want to believe that their favorite porn star did not make retirement money and is having trouble switching to another job, now that she is known for porn. Which was basically her point.

With the literally thousands of performers and models in productions every year, it is messed up that anyone would still have any issue hiring someone because they'd been in an adult job at some point.
