good advice!

- Don't rely on just one sponsor you need to balance out the good and bad months.

- User updated sites work amazing when you hit the right niche. Essentially if they upload there own photos/videos.

- Don't sell traffic from your own sites use it at a sponsor of your choice. Search engine traffic is the best traffic.

- Paid traffic does work but it takes a lot of work to get it right. You need to be constantly be testing the traffic. Even if you buy traffic from one site this week and it converts well next week could be a whole different story.

That's actually a good point.. I have more than 100 paysite passes but never download any videos for personal use. The few times I do I usually just watch a few minutes before I close and delete it

when I was new and enthusiastic about promoting my cam models I made a separate Mtree account (to test just one method) and put up some semi-quality 2-3 min non nude videos on the net using a mass tube submitter, the videos had "ambush watermarks" because I was pissed off at xhamster demanding they become your affiliate if you want to post a watermarked video...over the course of a year and a half I made somewhere in the 800$ per video range from mtree...I made the separate account because there was no way of knowing where exactly the traffic came from over the mtree interface and I was too lazy to set up tracking on the models websites because they are lazy shits...it was a quick fix...

now keep in mind I uploaded a few videos linked to this account and never touched anything again...only that one days work made me $800, per video, in one and a half years time...

they key was I had my own free material...I am a shit shooter and the video was done on some cheap cam I had...IF you have models that are not lazy shits the money is definitely there for cams, my models are lazy and it still made me 800$/video...if I had just one serious model that is not looking for a suggar daddy but actually wanted to work for a living, I could easily easily be in the 1000$/week range and if I had a kick ass model it would easily be 2-3K/week with just one model...it would take maybe 6-12 months to reach this level, with several weekly updates, but still not bad for 1 model...the problem is the moment my models start making 200-300$/day they relax and not give a shit...

what works for me now is investing 0 time in all this promotion shit and getting models to find other models for me in exchange for a kickback...I was a studio boss and affiliate and now I am just a studio boss...

Revshare means consistent sales and reliability as an affiliate program owner and affiliate in general. No hit and runs. Partnership.

This is a good tip! I have to switch some offers currently on PPS. Just hard to accept the short-term hit when I don't get much traffic now, but I think you guys are correct that its the right long-term play.

I'm new to the adult affiliate industry, so I don't have much to add given the vast experience of other posters. But I can say that I was pretty amazed in the difference in quality between paid traffic - from any source - and organic traffic. Its a night and day difference in conversion rate when a customer finds you on their own through google.

Exactly. And combined with a niche as mentioned in the first post by @incredibleworkethic it is pure gold.

Of course, the site we send the customer to must deliver also. Almost forgot that important point. AWE, Cambuilder and Chaturbate works for my traffic. Others might have different results.

Excellent advice! While I do run paysites I too am branching out into the cam and dating world. It would be interesting to learn where the OP gets his cam and dating traffic from.

Amateur sites is still doing pretty good nowdays... BUT its hard to find something LEGIT, 2257 etc and not another one with stolen pics from internet, revenge porn etc

This is a great example of starting with one idea, making money from it, then using that concept as a base to pivot into an arena that makes more money with less work and makes others WANT to promote you.

Ive been thinking about it, and one of the most important things I've found is that there really aren't any shortcuts to affiliate success.

Whats had the best impact for me is all the stuff you read on day 1 of research - Use ahrefs or similar for keyword research, write lots of quality text, lock down backlinks on sites also targeting those keywords.

There are a lot of "SEO gurus" out there promising page 1 rankings if you buy their $75 package to trick google. The truth is that if you want a good affiliate site with real staying power, there isn't any other way except the hard way. It takes a real investment of your time and energy to make something that has real value.

Someone please chime in and correct me if this seems wrong - because I would love to know if theres an easier way!

it was my dream to live like hugh hefner...I rented out a 3 story apartment from a football player and reserved the top floor to myself and the models were supposed to be on the first 2...I live in serbia, girls are notoriously hard to recruit here for porn but I did not know this I was new...I only knew that in hungary next door if you give an ad 100 girls will call...I gave several ads in papers "erotic models wanted" and exactly 0 girls called back...I did get replies from dudes, gay dudes and trannies tho...it broke my heart...

but I noticed that there were a lot of "sugar daddy looking for sugar baby" type ads...out of desperation I gave an ad for sugar babies, in hopes of getting to talk to them in person and convincing them with "my" massive apartment...I got a few replies...then I got a great idea, I made a "sugar daddy alliance"...I contacted all the other sugar daddies over email and asked them if they were willing to "exchange sugar babies" and I explained what I do...they loved me...for a while the did the "research" and "talent prospecting" for me...I shot out a circular blind carbon copy email to everybody asking for new girls every week and they would send me photos and I would recycle these photos and send to other sugar daddies back...but I mostly got hookers and they come with their own special set of mental problems...the few semi hookers I got were good material to work with and they had broke friends so I offered them 100$ for any girl that comes to an interview...it grew from there to a point where I had "club jumping girls" go from club to club and chat up slutty looking girls...100$ is a lot for one night and I got hundreds and hundreds of girls over the years to come and work for me...

for a while I made nice money with anastasia date type of sites...non nude, russian bride shit but with chat...I got photo models and A1 girls to do non nude chat but the problem is the prettier a girl is the sooner she finds some sugar daddy and flakes out...

I am by far the biggest recruiter in serbia....there are 0 porn agencies here...zero...porn is legal, hooking is alive and well, but girls do not want to appear on social media one day...we have 0 professional porn actresses, 0 porn companies from serbia and a few shooters who barely make ends meet...they mostly go to hungary and find models there...I would go so far as to say that I even have political power because I "have girls" and people with money and power think I am the reincarnation of jesus...when I explain what I do their facial expression changes...

but it is not what I thought it would be...I disbanded the big studio because it became a place to hang out and not make money for me...I realized I could make more money by putting each girl in her own apartment, so she would have to work even more to pay for the rent and could work without distraction from other girls...laziness is like a disease...it spreads among girls in a group...my hat goes off to hugh hefner for being able to put up with all that shit...

I am quite sure i saw some serbian girls on pornodan facebook feed. Even Croatia have 2 pornstars(or models, as every joe and moe is called today pornstar)
