They were the first affiliate program I made 7 figures with. The reason Lori had a huge rush of traffic from shortly after she began is because I had over a thousand chatbots pushing to her page (and about 3 others)

I was just going to say the same thing. There are both obvious buyers in the space who might pay a substantial premium and most remaining affiliates would even probably be willing to pony up a decent amount. I can't imagine how much they'd have to ask to be unable to sell.

This... or the head shits finally just gave up. They stopped competing years ago.

I imagine their decision to close had something to do with Flash being exterminated (soon) and the cost/hassle of properly converting everything over to HTML5.

iFriends was limping along on old ideas, old programming, and old technology (as they have since ~2007-2008). And since they waited so long, the expense of upgrading to a competitive level would have been prohibitive -- especially since they averaged only 50-60 models online at a time -- down from 2000+ a decade ago.

It's a shame that the industry's top dawg couldn't/wouldn't compete against fledgling upstarts like MFC and CB. It was clear that the game was changing. But iFriends refused (for years) to adapt.

Sad.
