:stop webcams.com is gone aug 8th upate your links

mindgeek is buying it all!!!

Dear Affiliates,

We're excited to inform you about the following upcoming changes and hope this is great news for you as well!

Starting with 8th of August 2016 we are moving entirely to a new affiliates platform and domain.
This is cash4members.com and as a result we will no longer accept any new incoming joins with this date in relation to the current existing affiliate program. Also, the White Label sites will be discontinued with the same date, 8th of August 2016.

This transition is meant to offer you more tools and sites to sell and thus to earn more money!
We encourage ALL webmasters to go and register their new accounts under cash4members.com now, start creating campaigns and promote us!

Fear NOT, your payment will be issued as we did continuously since 2005 and your revshare earnings will still be added to your account balance and payouts!!!
You will still have access to your affiliate account at webcams affiliate login link until 31st of August 2016 and you can still see the statistics.

1. Click the button below
2. Register your cash4members.com affiliate account

If an affiliate found a new and better way to make money, he would dump all his existing sponsors in a heartbeat.

Why is it wrong to do it the other way around?

I would redirect all the affiliates' legacy links.
Server redirect with the parameters? Big fucking deal.

Pretty shitty way to handle it.

To all webcam.com affiliates: we won't pay you for joins after Aug 8th. Try cash4members.com instead!

So if an affiliate is a partner and the sponsor has done all the work in creating the site, supporting the sponsor, etc.

Why should the partner affiliates fuck the sponsors by pulling the links?

Why not keep those links and make new ones to new sponsors?

As you said the affiliate is a partner. I'm assuming you do a lot of work for your partners and it's all lost if they don't stick to their part of the partnership.

Or is it only the affiliate who's allowed to fuck his partner sponsor?

I'm illustrating the blinkered approach this industry took, that has no logic. Both are independent businessmen, both work hard at working together for as long as it please both of them, both have the right to change their business model at any time. Especially when it suits one to break the partnership.

Affiliates promote sites that suit them and sponsors should have equal rights.

Once they sign a contracted that states a length of time before changing course, then there's a dispute.

Nobody???

They must have calculated this and thought it was worth it. This is business, not a social club. what makes me question is the attitude of people who will pull links at a moment's notice because something else is more profitable, then scream when others do that back.

How long would it take an affiliate to pull traffic from site A and move it to site B, if site B paid more?

Contracts on the Internet are unilateral and contracts of adhesion.

Reputable and honorable business partners do not cheat each other.

That is where law and ethics may not coincide but so what?
Screw people and your business reputation is shit -- that is called reality.

Clearly, they don't need affiliates who cost them more money than they're worth. If the affiliates cost nothing and brought in enough sales, they would keep them. With all those sites they can put adverts on Tubes and other sites and get free joins.

They can adopt a new model of promoting webcam models who have done porn or will do.

Take this as a warning, the business is adapting and people who were once courted and made to feel important are now excess baggage.

Why do you care, would Xlovecam keep a part of the business that no longer shows a profit? Affiliates have proven they wouldn't.

+1

Bet there's a heap of affiliates who have forgotten where their links are. Yo Paul, most of us don't have a magic "change all links to the new program" button.

It's not just that you have to change the links, you still need to FIND them, too. webcams.com referral stats are limited to a 31 day range, and it looks like you have to click each individual day to see URL details, so it's going to take a fair bit of work (hundreds of clicks) for an affiliate with several sites to find the source of their recent sales.

Looks from recent stats that my links expired with the domains I let drop, but I cannot be 100% sure there isn't still an active link somewhere. THAT is the problem, Paul.

Would you change them if they were making less money than other sites would?

Quote:

I know they are. The problem affiliates have is most are becoming irrelevant or unprofitable. The amount of "free money" they will gain isn't worth enough to scare them.

Look who Mindgeek own. Why should they bother with an unprofitable sector of their business?

There's no written contract, no oral contract between a site and an affiliate that says you have to keep accepting or sending traffic. In fact, I'll bet the Terms state both are free to change at any time. More often than both are tied to each other.

This shows how important affiliate traffic is to Mindgeek. THAT is the problem, Rowan.

A list of who you promoted and on what site, was too much work for you.

Hi Guys,

The Webcams.com product is going to be promoted from inside Cash4Members.com sometime soon. For the moment we are working on the technical implementation. For this reason it is not available under Cash4Members.com yet.

Our future plans are even greater for webcams.com and our affiliates. The goal of this change is to bring a better affiliate program and a stronger product with much higher conversion rates.

We are asking all our business partners to change their links with new ones generated inside Cash4Members.com and start promoting MyDirtyHobby.com in order to keep their incoming earnings and jump on a higher scale. This will buy us time to properly make the implementation of webcams.com inside the new affiliate program.

Rest assured, we are not dumping anyone. We are aiming to continue doing business with the current partners by offering them an alternative for making stronger earnings, while we will make the transition of the affiliate program.

I wanted to bring in some light on this topic in a transparent and honest way.

Thank you,

Because I am not a sleazeball that will intentionally screw my business partners -- apparently you think this is justifiable.

What is your new motto Paul "Chump and Dump"?
Fuck off.
There is -0- chance of you doing business with anyone here now. Even the chump artists know that you will try to chump them.

You apparently have no ethics like too many people in business

You already bought your ticket -- enjoy the ride

what is the reason for moving it?? shutting off the whitelables in a week sounds like a dump. can affiliates cashout if they don't agree?

Rest assured, we are not dumping anyone. We are aiming to continue doing business with the current partners by offering them an alternative for making stronger earnings, while we will make the transition of the affiliate program.

I wanted to bring in some light on this topic in a transparent and honest way.

Thank you,

Mindgeek made a very bad policy decision here. They have quite a few affiliate programs and are willing to ruin any trust by taking one affiliate program that Mindgeek *MAY* see as not that profitable and jeopardizing their trust and reputation of their whole affiliate network.

Who ever thought this cluster fuck up should hit the bricks. This is one is a classic to be remembered.

Fuck off.
There is -0- chance of you doing business with anyone here now. Even the chump artists know that you will try to chump them.

You apparently have no ethics like too many people in business

You already bought your ticket -- enjoy the ride
Do your partner affiliates play by the same ethics as you?

That's the part you refuse to understand.

Barry seems to think he has to stay poorer to keep affiliates earning a living. While affiliates can jump boat at any time.

The future is very big companies taking the traffic, then the need for affiliates who can't work on their own and get the revenue given to them will go.

What I find strange is all the bitching and bleeding hearts. Where were they when they were killing offline porn?

What goes around comes around.

Fuck you Paul.
You show your true colors here.

This is why you are out of business.
Real reason.

Paul - You really don't get the affiliate/program relationship at all - Affiliates are doing them a favor by bringing in sales - They are not doing me a favor by letting me make them money - That's why they provide tools and incentives - Affiliates can pick and choose - For now anyway...

When someone pulls shit like this it reflects badly on the company - Although Mindgeeks reputation is so bad already you have to question the sanity of anyone still promoting them.....

No content is king. The company with the content sets the rules it wants to live by.

My point is most here think the company with the content has to keep to the rules the affiliates don't keep to. And so far no one has addressed my point.

Yes, my true colours are both parties need to accept the same rules. You seem to think that's not right.

That's why I was able to retire on a pension plan that will keep me warm for my lifetime and Eva's after I'm gone.

No one is doing anyone a favour in business. It's about making money.

The business is changing rapidly and most affiliates have gone or going. Should a company hold onto yesterday's model or go to tomorrow's model?

And as I repeatedly point out, affiliates demand the right to change who they promote at any time. Here we see them demanding a Sponsor doesn't change. Can yousay why it's right that one can change and the other can't>

As for Mindgeek, they are part of tomorrow reputation doesn't mean $$$$

Your argument and others here are like those working in Detroit building cars 20 years ago. Or

I'm owed nothing and apparently have no remaining links (or any that generate clicks) so I'm all done. Bye bye webcams.com
