    Mass Deportations Have Begun, Congressman Says



    U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro accused President Trump on Thursday of putting a mass deportation program into place, saying it goes beyond anything orchestrated by prior administrations.

    In a flurry of tweets, Castro said it's "hard not to conclude" that mass deportations have begun following a meeting he attended with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

    He said ICE officials made it clear only Dreamers - undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children and protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive order - without any offenses "including traffic tickets" or perceived gang affiliations would be exempt. He said the only thing that will limit the program is the size of ICE's budget.

              UHmm... so when its said Obama created a huge illegal immigration problem by refusing to enforce the laws, its said continually that he's deported more illegals than all other Presidents combined.

              When Trump starts to deport ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS (felons, wanted people, drug dealers, child traffickers, gang bangers and so on) - its mass hysteria and panic and he's the anti-christ?

                  Illegals with no record here on amnesty programs where they check in once a year are now being detained & deported, that's new. Its not business as usual.

                                          Illegal migrants should be sent back to where they came from and those who are citizens of countries who refuse to take them back of have no documentation put into work camps. Fed, Housed, Medical Aid in return for work. Then the flow of illegals will become a non-issue.

                                                              As just one small part of the issue, we have something like 70,000 criminal illegal aliens who have served time for serious crimes and where their home country refuses to take them back, even though they have no right to be here. These are among the many being rounded up. India, Pakistan and Mexico are at the top of the list of countries refusing to take them back. Another thing that should be corrected soon. Trump is a fuckwit but there are a lot of practical issues from economic to immigration that must be addressed that the "other party" won't and has refused to.

Just had a murder last night of an 80 year old man trying to stop a 4 time deported illegal from robbing another 80 year old woman. Also SF just had a man shoot and kill another right off the pier, he had been deported 3 times.

                                                                                                      Tell me why we don't seem to see these heinous crimes from legal or illegal immigrants from Canada? or other civilized countries?

                                                                                                                              You are exactly right on pretty much everything, I agree law abiding immigrants here that work and produce, don't commit crimes should be allowed to become FULL citizens. But what about those that commit crimes 3 and 4 times, get deported then come right back and do the same thing again? Also what do we do with the huge influx of immigrants from the south? Keep allowing the 1 million plus per year to come? It's complicated I know, but we have to have a legal pathway that all those people can take so for one, they don't get taken advantage of and two we can keep track of our citizens too (get them SS cards, get them into the sytem etc.).

                                                                                                                                                  I came to Czech before it joined the EU, so I had to get a Residents Permit. I opened a corporation here before Czech joined the EU, all my turnover went through Czech banks, we paid out $1,000s to employees, rent, taxes, etc. Every week. People like that are welcome anywhere in the world.
