Hi guys,

I've been waiting to see what will happen with my payment request before writing anything new on this thread.

So I first asked to Mike a payment on mid-february who relay it to Crystal.
3 weeks later as I had no news I told Mike I had to email Crystal an Joe.
2 more weeks later I could confirm what many of you have written: no payment, no email answer from NA accountancy.

The way I advert porn, NA is one of the best converting site. Previously it was 30% of my income so I couldn't pulled out all the links. As I saw this kind of trouble coming, I've diversified my activities and now NA is only 15% of my income. They still owe me some $2,000.

I could understand cash flow problems. I could understand Crystal may be swamped with work. But not having an answer to an email from neither Crystal, nor Joe, no sorry, no, I couldn't understand it.

So whatever the reasons if in two weeks, April 7, I've not been paid, I will take actions and sanctions towards NA. Doing this alone won't trouble them, but if many affiliates do the same actions and sanctions at the same time that could hit the minds in the porn business.

I really hope to come back in two weeks telling you I've been paid and there's still hope at promoting NA.

I'm going to speculate they have been heavily sued and are using affiliate funds to pay it off every month. I know there was a company who had VR patents going after adult VR companies. This seems the most likely reason for the downfall of their affiliate program.

I was waiting for an accounting email from 5 weeks. Not strangely, I received an email on monday after posting my message here and on XBiz saturday.

I answered them my point of view about this situation. As a result payment received wednesday and account closed. I prefer it this way even if it's really unfortunate cause they have a great site.

When you run a classic company, you can't afford to have customers that don't pay otherwise you risk bankrupcy. That's not because as affiliates our income is always bigger than our bills that we have to run our business differently from a classic company.

Good luck in getting your payment and good luck to NA to solve their cash flow problem if any.

A lot of us are on the rev share program.

I got paid $1,500 the other week, first payment for 6 months or so. So I'm still owed around $30,000. Even if I pulled every link I could expect to make at least that again in rebills over the next few years.

It would be great if a bonafide company like Pimproll, Badoink, or Reality Lovers bought them out and then paid the money owed to NR affiliates. Naughty America certainly has a lot of good VR content. The problem I guess is that VR is progressing rapidly, moving already to 5K for example, that that existing content might be close to worthless in a couple of years. And given the continued disapointing lack of growth in the VR market, I doubt very much any company has the money at the moment to buy them out AND pay off all their affiliate debt.

Why would a new buyer "waste" money by paying off old/current affiliates what is owed? That's the responsibility of the old/current owner. They have made the sale and profited from it, they pay. Only way a new buyer would pay off the outstanding debt would be if it's included as part of the purchase price but why would the current owner accept that, since they are not paying as it already is.

I agree I'm dreaming, but maybe a new owner might want to restore the brand and keep the past affiliates happy (or bring them back)?

Also, obviously the law regarding debt and such doesn't apply to the adult biz and us poor subhuman affiliate webmasters, or everybody assumes it doesn't, but doesn't a new owner of a company with existing debts have to take responsibility of those debts?

So I've been recruited to help with book keeping and I actually found 2 payments I didn't know about from Oct and Nov. That's the good news.

The bad news is still no email replies from the mails I sent in January/Feb, no new payments and those 2 payments are like a raindrop in the ocean. I'm still working out the books but it looks like it's around $xxx,xxx owed. o-O

That's the good news. The bad news is still no email replies from the mails I sent in January/Feb, no new payments and those 2 payments are like a raindrop in the ocean. At least they paid me what was owed to this point (so I still have some rev share going, never did PPS, but whatever). I'm done with them. Good luck to you guys. Hope they change management soon and have a fresh start.
