I have a few. I have a few hidden as well. You're going to see lots of feeder/splog type sites, that's just the nature of trading links.

Speaking of Alexa, it's pretty skewed data, look at LinkSpun's Alexa as prime example. While the statistical data about views/bounce etc is almost bang on, it's not quite probably that linkspun is in the 12k busiest sites on the planet.

i know, but alexa is a good way to get a ballpark on traffic from a site imho

you just need to learn how do the trades:

you need to split your sites into shitty ones and good ones.
you hide good ones and show shitty ones

then you link other people good site on your shitty one
and in return you get link from his shitty one to your good one...

I have blogs with 100+ daily traffic that have 2 million Alexa and my webmaster blog gets 15 visits a day and is just under 1 million on Alexa. I don't bother with Alexa for chosing link trades

Hit up my ID there, I have some quality trades.

I agree most of the sites I see are pure crap, even from a link building point of view. I just don't see the relevancy in back links from subdomains on free hosts etc. I reject about 85% of trades it seems.

Still tho it's a great tool and I have found some good trades there.

Alexa gets its data from people that use the alexa toolbar or something like it, like very single webmaster in the world.

So when webmasters visit your site, you get a huge spike.

I heard that google penalizes freehost inbounds if there are a shit ton of them?? Or rather, "devalues" the inbounds. Sorta like blog comments with sigs

There are people with good pr sites out there willing to trade. I don't think alexa traffic is really what people are looking for.

stop worrying about alexa rankings and google PR.

I'm not interested in how much traffic in a trade gives me. Frankly, most sites that could send lots of traffic are just sending shit skim and surfers looking for free porn. My traffic sent to ALL sponsors converted at a rate of 1:531 last month, because it's mostly all targeted SEO traffic. Sounds like a damn valuable link to me.

Google hasnt had a PR update since April. There are lots of sites on LS that show pr0 that would be pr2 if G had updated visible PR. Just because Google doesnt show the PR update, dont think those pr0 sites links dont carry weight. Take a look at other seo tools like seomoz to judge the authority of a page.
