NATS4 versions had a bug with payout tiers...

How many programs are affected by this?

It has been brought to our attention that the early NATS4 versions had a bug with payout tiers. If an affiliate sends many sales in one period, a higher payout percentage is set for the rest of the period. The sales counter is supposed reset in each period.Because of the bug, this reset didn't happen in many cases, and affiliates were incorrectly getting a higher revshare percentage for months sometimes between November 2009 and September 2010.

I am sure all affiliates affected by this are very upset to learn that they were overpaid.

No doubt many will be requesting bank details of sponsors in order to issue refunds.

For the affiliate a good bug, for the program owners not so good, if indeed it is correct and can be verified as such...

so program owners should be able to claim compensation from TMM for loss incurred due to this bug?

Not sure of the specific wording of their license agreement, but since TMM can shut down programs using their software if they think the program is screwing affiliates, it would only seem fair that the reverse be true if the affiliates are screwing the programs due to TMM.
