          Presumably, much of the "leaked" documents are of little value - adds relatively little to what's already publicly known / available through other channels (ie. FOIA requests).

          If the info Wikileaks is posting was really all that important, the domain would have been seized (as like with the "pirate" sites this past week), the website, its torrents, etc would be gone already. And its operators would be branded terrorists and locked away in a secret 3-letter agency prison somewhere. None of this has happened ... why is that? ...

          Wikileaks to me smacks of CIA psyops; deflect public attention away from other military / national security matters.

                      read up on manning's convo with lamo.. doesn't make sense if he had already given the info to assange then told lamo about it that lamo outs him and then is busted. not sure about wikileaks = seeeyea

                          Most of this is diplomatic back and forth conversations. It just shows that people act one way behind the scenes and another in front the cameras. No big news there. The people involved all know what really happened so this is only news for outsiders like us, not the actual players involved. It's like the tabloids, it's news to us but not for the famous people they talk about.

                          Biggest thing is how everyone seems to hate America but when it comes to taking out Iran, everyone begs America to do it. Reminds me of that scene from Team America about the dick, the asshole, and the pussy.
