New Indian xxx Comic Series - Samples Attached - looking for business partner

I am looking for a business partner for my erotic indian comic series. I currently have one complete comic ready, of 21 pages. This is the first in the series of an epic erotic tale. I can make 1-2 comics a month. In 1 year with 15 comics this would generate good revenue with a paid membership access to the comics.

I have been drawing adult comics for online sites for a long time, with a portfolio of over 40 comics, so you can be comfortable that I can create the comics on a regular basis.

This is a very niche market. I need a cashflow of $1000 a month while I create these comics on a monthly basis. The collaborator has to finance me till the site generates profit, and handle the marketing. I can keep the website search engine optimised for the target audience.

Fabien, it will take me a year to get enough comics for a membership site. I have comics now but they are all from different genres and none with indian content. I would like to make this specifically for indian toons. Thats why I need someone to 'cash' me out till we have enough content to generate revenue.

Your offer does not make financial sense.
Also I suggest you review your color process, becuase these comics look like crap, colors should be way simpler - 1 color per cell (with gradient).. my 2 cents.

Youre partly correct gimme-website, but the term is photo-referencing. It is used by many artists at marvel and dc today, including Alex Ross and Boris Vallejo. Sort of like leonardo painting the mona lisa from a live reference, only we use photos. The art is still all handdrawn on paper and then scanned and colored on computer.

About the color process, I can do simple comic colors as in the comics in the above link, but Im going in for a Heavy Metal / Alex Ross / Boris Vallejo look that will convince readers they are getting something high quality and unique. This takes much more time, but as you can see from the above responses, most people appreciate the quality.

About the models not looking Indian, I draw comics for an indian comic site and they prefer fair skinned european looking characters. If you see any new indian music video / movie , the actors all look fairly european. Here are a few top indian actors -

Some updates.. I have received a positive response from nbm publishers for graphic novel type publishing of this series. They have expressed interest, no terms have been discussed yet.

My offer for a partnership on the site is still open, here is the proposal -

PROPOSAL:
I will provide niche indian comic content that is one of a kind on the internet. Namely, Kama & Sutra, an erotic comic series set in ancient India, mixing porn with Indian mythology and legends. This kind of content cannot be bought as easily as buying photos of nude indian women or buying generic porn comics. You need talent, skill, patience, and understanding of Indian mythology and culture to create this kind of content. I can guarantee you will not find someone else to create similar content for you without a year of searching and paying for rejected work.

I will not be taking any share of the profit for one year. I will receive $600 per month for one year in return for working on the comics full time. I will need to be working 8-10 hours every day to be creating this kind of content. I need the $600 a month to pay for my monthly expenses.Thats a total of $7200 which you could recover in 4-5 months where I wont be taking a share of the profit. I will provide 8 comics in the first 4 months to help get the site started at the earliest, and a minimum of 18 comics in the year. My profit share after 1 year will be 40%.


DETAILED TERMS:

Till 6 months commencing from start of agreement -
1. I will provide 2 20 page comics a month for 6 month, totalling 12 comics
2. I will receive $600 a month, and no share of the sales

After 6 months till 1 year -
1. I will provide a minimum of one 20 page comic a month
2. I will receive $600 a month, and no share of the sales

After one year -

1. I will provide a minimum of one 20 page comic a month till we have 25 comics
2. I will receive 40% of sales

After completion of 25 comics -
1. I will continue to receive 40% of sales every month, regardless of whether I provide new content or not.

Additional terms -
1. The content will be exclusive to the site we have entered in partnership for, and cannot be used on other sites by either party.
2. I will be allowed access to the sales statistics of the site.
