I used to have this on an old Nokia e65 phone and LOVED this feature.

I want to group people into lists, and during certain days/time only allow certain lists to call, the rest will go straight through to voicemail. Would love to have something like this so I can limit who can call me at 7am during the week or 11pm on a Friday evening so I don't accidentally drunk answer ![]()

I do this on my Android phone using an app called Tasker. I don't think that there's an iPhone version, but you might find something similar...and I'd bet you'd need to be jailbroken.

i tried something similar to that, but i want to give them the ability to make incoming calls during certain times. what i'm trying to do is avoid having to get a second phone as some of these guys I work with call me at 7am and multiple times in a row regardless of how many times i tell them not to

Google Voice does exactly that, you can decide who rings through and at what times. No need for different people to know your personal number, just redirect you Google Voice number when you need too or feel like it.

I don't believe the iphone SDK allows developers to capture the incoming call number. I was looking in to it when I wanted to try and write an app that forwards custom calls for me.

iPhone is great for everything but talking, so I wanted to get a phone that has better reception. |

however, im wondering if you can add a 2nd number through AT&T (not voip) like you could with older blackberries. then i could forward all my main number calls to google voice, then those back to my new number... ARGH! headache! ![]() Quote:

Company ended up flopping right when newer smart phones came out. Was a great idea as I had a Nokia e65 and Motorola KRAZR that I would swap out depending on what I was doing
