Nancy Pelosi skips the pat down.

Israel has it right with their behavioral profiling, but mention, 'profiling' in the US and it's a huge no-no..

Had to start taking off your shoes after the shoe bomber...

Now it's feeling around the crotch of men, women, and teenagers because of the underwear bomber...

It'll be interesting to see what happens after they find someone who puts explosives up their ass and blows up somethin..

"hang your clothes over there, Ma'am and bend over please."

Uhh.. was that supposed to make a point?

Mr. Boehner, who was escorted around the identification-checking agents, the metal detectors and the body scanners, and whisked directly to the gate.

You must love Hannity... that's about how he would word it..

It's not the pat down itself so much, but the principle of the matter. We (especially those in the US) expect to be able to live our lives in freedom, and this new TSA bullshit is just one more intrusion into everyone's lives, and everyone intrinsically knows it's not doing anything to make anyone safer. Think of it as the straw that broke the camel's back.

All the anger you're seeing isn't specifically because of TSA policies. It's because over the last several decades the government has continually stripped away freedoms & rights that were taken for granted before. The government pushed too hard this time, and now they're seeing the backlash from it.

Just think what would happen if it was 1970, and all these current laws & policies got set into place overnight. TSA screenings at airports, people getting arrested for playing chess in the park, if you buy too much cough syrup the cops will pay you a visit, the insane prison sentences for smoking weed, and on, and on... If this was 1970, and all that got set into place overnight, the Whitehouse would be a pile of ashes within a week.

The Fourth Amendment protects us from 'unreasonable searches and seizures". This means the local cops can't walk into your place of business, house, or car, and look around without proper reason.

It's not an "unreasonable search" to frisk people at an airport or any other secure event.

Grow the fuck up. You either submit to a search, no or no one gets searched and then it's a free for all for anyone who wants to hijack a plane. I'm not worried about terrorists; I'm worried about Bob who lost his job six months ago, was denied unemployment, his wife left him, and he was just evicted from his house... A single gun man on a domestic flight in the US will have the undivided attention of the entire world.

It's a fucking Frisk... a simple fucking pat down.... who cares... if everyone stopped bitching and just went through and shut the fuck up it would go smooth and quick...

have you never been to a concert before?

I know they may not frisk at a barry manalow show but at the concerts I go to you get a wand and a quick frisking.....

Personally I'm all for the pat down... the price of airline tickets they should be giving me a reach around while they fuck me....

but seriously thogh.... who gives a fuck about a pat down.. or a xray picture... big fucking deal... you wanna see me naked fucking google me.....

no stop fucking crying about it.... only time I want the pat down vs the xray pic is when im flying with my medi weed....

:)

Dude you are such a fucking shill.

The main purpose is to desensitize the public to all kinds of ridiculous searches and seizures. They are developing a police state and idiots like you actually support it. Stand up for your fucking liberties you spineless bastard. Where does it end? You gonna let them put video cameras in your house too? Douchebag.

TheSenator 11-20-2010 10:29 PM

Only real AMERICANS get a pat down!

Fuck the Taliban!

DAMNMAN 11-20-2010 10:38 PM

I personally prefer freedom to safety and this goes way beyond a frisk BTW. The TSA employee should give the girls a ring before this search, it's that bad.

I would go to jail on the spot if someone touched my son in an improper way, it makes no difference if it's a TSA person.
We aren't flying these days. No-one is supposed to be touching those areas and he's been told that his whole life.

I suppose I should make an exception for the TSA guy and tell my son that daddy says it's OK for this guy to feel your junk 'cause he's the official government junk feeler.

Also, this shit isn't going to stop terrorism at all. A terrorist could detonate a bomb in line waiting to be frisked, it would have the same effect in the crowded airport. It's all a scam.

The scanners are called dick measuring machines by TSA employees, and they 'cause cancer at an estimated rate of 1/30,000,000 according to safety studies. I find this unacceptable. Especially if I'm that unlucky bastard.

:2 cents:

cockpit doors are secure - no more hijacking the plane. Best the terrorists can get is dead passengers. No more guide missle action. (supposedly)

detonating a fucking cockrocket on a 7 year old taliwhacker is just as bad as guiding it into a building....

detonate that fucker over a major city you still have collaeratal that is a larger region than in an airport...

From your Ambush interview:

Obviously to call rules into question is part of the secondary education in the US.

have any of you ever had luggage go missing or stolen?

If people can take stuff of a plane without anyone noticing they can certainly put stuff on a plane without anyone noticing

In most cases where luggage has been stolen at the airport, airport personnel and even customs officers turned out to be responsible...
