          By "liberal elite" do you mean someone like AlGore with the nearly $30K utility bill at his home?

          The joke is about "liberals", not blacks and you seem to have a somewhat racist mindset, don't you think?

                          The original versions of that joke was not about liberals. You can't seriously be that stupid to not know that joke was derived from a racial joke.

                          I just searched "how do you starve a hide his food stamps under his work boots" in Yahoo, and all the "Democrat" versions are posted within the last year or so, while the racial ones go back years. There are variations as to which race it attacks, but the fact remains that epitome is right:
