    Selling on Craigslist is like working with the mentally retarded.

    Seriously, I posted 4 ads to get rid of some used laptops I have collected. In each ad I stated at the top and bottom "PRICE IS FIRM. NO TRADES."

    Each reply I have gotten has been someone trying to jew me down or trade me something. I used to think ebay was shit but I am starting to think that maybe their fees aren't so ridiculous.

    So far I have had idiots contact me wanting to trade me: a sewing machine, two xbox 360s (one working, one not), an ipad, a non-running ATV and one guy who wanted to trade me a 1974 "Camero" with no motor or transmission.

    Fuck Craigslist.

              Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                          its annoying to deal with. I was trying to sell my macbook pro for $800 bucks and got all sorts of stupid responses... including someone looking to trade me neon lights and a head unit for a car.

                          likewise, I was recently selling a subwoofer, box and amp I had in my old car. Worth about $1200 or more, I figured $500 was a fair price. Considering the sub was hardly used and still goes for over $500 new figured i would get some people to bite.

                          I clearly stated I am selling it because I have no use. I had offers of people wanting to trade shitty car stereo equipment to mp3 players, etc... even tho I had CASH ONLY

I know very well that the term "Jew" does not refer to a "race" but so many people do use it that way and in fact, antropologist have virtually done away with the term "race" as it is essenitally meaningless. The rule I quoted does seem to be the best fit though, I think.

I played email seesaw with some asshole for 5 days answering his questions and telling him my price was firm. I finally knocked 50 bucks off for him to be nice, then he came back the next day to ask for a free keyboard. I told him to fuck off and don't contact me anymore -- in those words.

                                                                                                  I only use Craigslist if I have some something big to give away and I don't feel like hauling it to the dump. Even then, some asshole will start asking all kinds of fucking questions.

Freestate isn't bad but a lot of their beers are far too grainy or sweet for me but the food is great.

I think half the people are lacking reading comprehension skills ... if you specify something in the ad (for example, no delivery) you will constantly get people asking you to deliver and whining about why can't you deliver, they have no car, it's too far for them to drive, etc. For $20 items.

                                                                                                                                              Having said that it's still a great way to get rid of stuff if you're moving. Instead of paying the mattress store $10 to take the old one away I sold it for $30, not huge money but it saved paying someone to get rid of it.

                                                                                                                                                              The original owner recently sold it to a group which guarranteed restoratio and continued use as a bar/party/catering biz. They have repainted the tee pee itself with both flood lines replaced. I drive by it going home on those rare occasions I get down to Lawrence.

I put them up on Craig's list for $100 for all of them. It was mostly just to get rid of them. This kid shows up and gives me $100 and carts them all away. He told me he had a huge computer network and need lots of monitors.

                                                                                                                                                                      Basically, he paid me $100 to take away my trash.

Craigslist has been pretty good to me, except for the occasional idiot asking me "how much" when i clearly had the price posted. I posted most of our furniture last night and have had about 50 responses and climbing. Craigslist can move shit fast!
