Everyone thinks theirs are the best. Mine actually are.

JBL. 100 watt'rs. I've had them for over 10 years, never have I wanted for a new pair.

2 speakers total (not 2.1 or any of that new age crap) 10 amp Altec-Lansings I got for like $20 at some department store. They have absolutely awesome sound, but I don't think they've made them for a few years.

YAMAHA also produced a great little set of full range amplified desktop speakers a few years back, that I sorta wished I had kept ... they had some pretty impressive sound for a 2 speaker set up!!
