Paypal sucks big green weenies!

And who among us did not already know that?

The current issue is making me CRAZY!

I can't pay my guy because a PERFECTLY GOOD CC IS BEING REJECTED BY PAYPAL with this note:

" You cannot use this credit card for this transaction. Please use another funding source.

* You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below."

I am going to fix this such that in future ANYONE who does any kind of biz with me will NOT have this kind of SUCKASS problem!

Perfectly good, doesn't always mean that they will or need to accept it.

If it's that important, grab a MoneyPak card at pretty much any grocery store and fund you Paypal account that way.

If you can't do it via PayPal, try Google Checkout. Someone I've done biz with in Singapore couldn't do PayPal but was able to do Google Checkout just fine.

Yeah, I know more about Google Checkout than anyone would ever want to know. All I am trying to do is PAY the guy through a Money Request that he sent to me and I selected the "Don't Have A Paypal Account" option, which leads you to a CC billing option and the PERFECTLY GOOD CC GETS KICKED OUT with the info I posted earlier.

This FUCKING SUCKS!

well here is an idea.. yelling and bitching won't get it done for ya.. if you want to pay the fucking guy go to walmart and buy a or some moneypak's and just give him the codes to put into his paypal account if yours isn't even verified.

oh yeah, bring cash walmart won't accept your CC either for this purchase

YOU don't add the greendot to your paypal account. You buy the green dot, tell him what numbers to type in, and HE adds it to HIS account. You didn't understand complay's post, hopefully that spells it out enough for you

Sorry I can't help you further...I've been accepting and sending payments on PayPal for over 6 years without your issue. The only time someone couldn't send me a payment was the one I described where the guy ended up doing it through GCO instead, which is why I suggested GCO. You took my suggestion to keep bitching to get the guy his money, so I'm glad I could help one way or another.

I've had people pay me for stuff by purchasing a green dot moneypak, then emailing me the activation code from the receipt (or the number on the back of the card.)

You guy buy a money pak for the amount you want to pay him. Oh, it'll cost you $3.95 to buy it. Email him the activation code.

The guy then logs into his paypal account, selects "Add funds using a moneypak" and enters the code, and POW! the money is there.

It's not fucking rocket science.

Additionally, if paypal won't let you use a card without creating and verifying an account, then their security system has an issue with your card and confirming the transaction is legit. I'm sure if someone used your card without your consent to send a payment through paypal, you'd be bitching they didn't take enough security measures.

Is the CC already tied to an active PP account? If so it might be an auto security/verification block that is being misrepresented. Try logging into your PP account once initially responding to the money request and use a direct cc pay from there. Why do it outside of your account, if you have one in good standing anyways? Don't want to use your normal account, open a new one and fund it from a valid credit card or account not already tied to another account...

Paypal has a black list on credit cards. If you lost your paypal account, any credit card you used and added to paypal when you had your account will then become black listed. They may have another reason why they are blocking the cc transaction also. They may have began the proceedings to shut down your account as well.

Paypal Blows, just type your story on paypalblows.org it will get all around and let people know your story. Paypal will eventually die out. I do some consultation on the side with people through ICQ to show them how to ween themselves off of Payscum and get their own merchant account. You might want to ICQ me for this if you live in the USA. I can put you in the right direction.

Let me ask you this..

Wouldn't you like all your money you receive to be all yours?

Paypal's policies are there for a very good reason - to protect Paypal. You and everyone else here should aleady know what happens to processors and money movers when they let their policies lapse. They are right, you are wrong.

The bottom line is, you have to work within Paypal's policies if you want to use them. If you don't or can't handle their policies, don't complain about them. Find another (and perhaps riskier) processor to work with.
