I was put under general anesthesia today.. WOAH what a trip

So I went under general anesthesia today (asleep)
what a fucking trip I remember talking about the paquio fight with the nurse... then as the docs came in and the med students (hot chicks) came in I remember saying.
"alright it's cold in here so when you lift this gown don't let that be your first impression... you should see it when he's awake"
and next thing I know I was waking up. what a fucking trip

I forget what kind of anesthesia I was in when I had my wisdom teeth removed (was actually 8 teeth total - wisdom + 4 premolars in prep for braces) and I have no idea if it was during the middle or near the end before I fully woke from it, but at one point I'm pretty sure I was at least semi-conscious while they were still doing stuff. Not in any pain or anything but it was really trippy. Whatever they were doing was really forceful...like there was no doubt they were still in the middle of it. Couldn't imagine if someone woke up like that during a regular surgery.

I was acutually pretty fucking scared in there....

then the dood sitting across from me is a colon cancer survivor just off chemo and was laughing at me... he could tell I was nervous...

so he asked me... your scared surrounded by doctors but your not afraid to go in a ring and get hit.... he made a valid point then I felt like a bitch for showing my nervousness and this dood was all smiles just to be alive ....

made me thing....

seriously though...

what happend to old nurses ....

when the fuck did we get hott ass med students and nurses what the fuck is this hot nurse monday?

that made me feel worse

by the way legally you can't hold me to anything I say for the next 24 hours says my paperwork so if I blab thats why..... im a lightweight to anything but weed....

when you're in the hospital it's best to just check your dignity at the door - those people see so much and go through so many people nothing phases or sticks with them.

they sedate u before u go into the operating room - general anaesthesia is scary, no matter how minor the procedure it there's a chance you won't wake up and they tell you that the day of the operation when u sign the consent thing.

Years ago, I was in the hospital for ankle surgery as a result of a tennis injury, and I was put under, and before I could hit 90 counting back from 100, I was passed out, and remember nothing.

My surgeon later gave me a videotape of my procedure, which involved drilling a hole all the way through my ankle, and then laser snipping 1/3 of the main tendon supporting my arch, in order to relieve the tension which had grown unbearable.

The funny part is that they used a fiberoptic scope camera, and so after completing the hole through my ankle, my surgeon waved into the camera from the other side of the hole.

It was pretty funny actually, although the way they use a hot iron to cauterize the operation area and stop the bleeding is kinda gross...

Well, hopefully you will recover fully.
