There's no reason it can't teach itself. If the facial recognition software stores all the data on demographics and who is choosing what, it can continuously change it's recommendation displays to fit the new trends accordingly. This is a genius little machine, and it's only the start. If the computer can determine your estimated age and sex now, what about a few years down the line when it can further narrow down your demographic, maybe based on hairstyles, fashion, the color of makeup. Who knows. This type of thing will be applied more and more in the future. Imagine walking through a mall, and every store you walk by being able to advertise it's most suited items directly to you as you cruise by. This is the direction we are going...
