My boys still have their hood. I learned that it use to be 80/20 in favor of getting circumcised and recently it has been more like 50/50. They have also removed the duty from the hospital, you get your kid's hood clipped off in a doctor's office now as they are pinned to a table. You can thank the health insurance companies for that, gets them more money and another copay for the visit.
The only reason people in the US do it is for cosmetic reasons. Bullshit, leave as it should be.

read the entire article.. it also states that unless you are deserted on an island away from any people you get these 'good germs' from other people anyway and because most people live in cities, towns or communities these days renders it useless and that's why they often go bad and need to be removed.

Why is everyone blaming the government here? This is some guy trying to get enough signatures together. I'm sure he'll succeed but even then it has to pass a vote in SF. Even then the blame should be on the people of SF not the government.
If the government was preventing this from getting on the ballot then I'd have a problem. Not because I agree with the anti-circumcision crowd but because the people should have a right to put whatever on a ballot if they get the proper signatures.aamos AT FFN dot com
