i agree open it up to google and new submissions, but it's not like people are going to come flooding in. there are a million ways to make money online now. a million more than a couple years ago even.

yet there are still just as many newbs now as ever who don't know anything about the state of the industry and imagine it's a goldmine. there's no less wannabe porn webmasters now than there were a year ago, or two years before that, or whenever before that.

if the forum was open to everyone, at least they'd have a chance to signup and fail for a couple months before they realize it's a total waste of their time. :1orglaugh

Another point everyone has totally missed is the new rep system.

Sure it is a joke to all those who have traded and have a whole line of green under their name. Well the joke is on them....

{{{WHAT}}} no one has noticed is that many are not posting their opinions to topics because if that opinion is in contrast to one of the ole kings around here you get negative repped!!!! I know this first hand....

Before the new rep system came into being you could actually enter into a conversation/debate over a topic. But not anymore. So the new toy for the ole kings is also running people off or just making lurkers out of them.... Whether you want to believe it or not......

What I said does not apply to those who can give out rep. If you ( stocktrader23 ) could not give out rep then you would most likely not have all that green going on there. You know that as well as I do..

Well, intuitively that makes sense but I've been neg repped many times. A couple of people even made it their hobby for a bit. :1orglaugh

I figured you would know what I meant. I saw you posting elsewhere years ago and this was even more true over there. For every sale I made on site I would get 30 to 40 emails or AIM contacts from potential customers.

I got neg repped for posting in this thread...

That just proves what I said.

Maybe the person that neg repped me will stand up and post their reason for giving me that.

In the old days, the first thing I did in the morning was fire up my computer, and after checking stats, I logged into GFY.......Nowadays, I just roll over and grab my phone and check facebook.
