Bartlesville, OK, United States (AHN) - A 10-day-old baby girl in Oklahoma has died after she was accidentally placed inside a washing machine and subjected through an entire wash cycle, according to police in Bartlesville.
Lindsey Fiddler, the mother of the infant, was arrested and charged with manslaughter for the death of her baby on Thursday.
She is being held without bail.
Fiddler?s aunt called 911 past 7 p.m. after discovering the baby inside the washing machine when she visited to check on her niece?s children.
The aunt told police that Fiddler was asleep when she came to her apartment and had a hard time waking her up.
Paramedics failed to revive the baby while rushing her to the hospital on an ambulance.
