12clicks 11-11-2010 01:33 PM

oh, and tiger, your chat is a lie. I'd be curious to see where you pulled it from.
considering the top tax rate is 35% under bush, 39.6% proposed by obama, 4.6% of 1million is NOT $103,835 nor is it $97,486

but I guess it looks good when you're perpetrating class warfare, eh?

here's a number to consider.
a 35% tax on $1mil is $350,000.00
Thats a $350,000 payment (per year) for the same services you're probably getting for free.

Oh lord... like removing the tax cut would give people no skin in the game, hahaha... much like it did through the 90's or the 40's to the 80's or after Reagan tax cuts were removed. :1orglaugh

so your suggestion would be for that person making 1mil to pay the same dollar amount as the person making 50k (since they are receiving the same services), or you have a different idea?

and isn't the 39.6 "proposed by obama" actually just a going back to the rate it was before the cut?

dear idiot, you're talking about the 47% who don't pay taxes. not the tax cut.

And a direct comparison to George W. Bush is a good thing? LOL. What Dubya did or didn't do doesn't matter anymore. He is gone. His game is over. Now we "move forward" with Mr. Obama.

I, for one, would love to see someone stand up and say "we need to stop fighting, we have things to do, enough is enough." I don't care who says it, just someone. I hope it's him and not the next President, we need to start today.

Calling the Republicans enemies does not help. Promising to repeal legislation without new solutions doesn't help.

I totally agree with you the IDEA of America is awesome. Its sad to me what the place has become. The american people voted for the president.
What does that have to say about the current american people?

Flynn 11-11-2010 01:53 PM

Hey man, Give BHO a frickin break you stupid right wing nut jobs. He is only letting the top earners keep their tax cuts for the sake of the middle class. And just to make clear this is his administrations idea. David Axelrod told the HuffingtonPost they will be called The Obama Tax Cuts For America. He's making lots of good changes and he's sticking to his word that he refuses to continue all of the failed policies of the previous administration.

You dumb republicans don't give him enough credit. You are all a bunch of Glenn Beck worshiping racist tea baggers.
Barack set the timeline for the successful Iraq troop withdraw AND now he is president the surge actually finally did work.
He stood his ground by ending US water boarding torture tactics of the Bush regime too. Now water boarding of Islamic fundamentalists is handled by foreigners.. He's closing down gitmo too. Axelrod said 2012 is a definite maybe.

All you rude Harvard and Dartmouth Republican AIDS activists that keep interrupting Obama's speeches need to realize that HIS administration is donating all the money to Africa. The evil greedy capitalist corporate war mongers don't care. Bush only set a 15 billion dollar initiative in 2003, then in 2008 another 48 billion. Obama asked Congress for a $0.2 billion increase in 2009 and a $0.1 billion increase in 2010. That's one-tenth of what he promised and less than 15% of the amount George W. Bush increased spending his last two years in office. But Obama will keep his word.

12clicks I just fucked you up with some truth. Stop watching Faux News and lean forward into MSNBC where they do news right. You'd probably fall on your face leaning forward though.

Zero taxes and zero gov spending = 13 trillion in debt, nothing happens.
Same taxes and zero gov spending = 5 years to pay off 13 trillion dollars.

Someone is going to have to explain the math on some of these key points.

Yes, poor people pay less or nothing for food.

And in 1912 we didn't have a federal reserve... and no power grids, roads, public transportation, air transportation, clean water, air, lead was going into everything, most police was volunteer, not all military took a pay, no vet services... oh hell like I need to keep going.

um, gonna say that someone making 50k is buying a cheaper loaf of bread than someone making 1mil, so...yes?

and just curious, but since you believe that everyone should pay the same amount, what amount do you believe that should be? We can use the 50k and 1mil person again. How much do they pay?

I'm going to fuck 12clickkks up with more truth.
What do you have to say about all the damn greedy corporations who claim they are hoarding all their money because "They are uncertain about the future". What do they care? They will just hire someone overseas and continue to fuck this economy up. Sure there are a bunch of government regulations making it a pain to employ our citizens but they are rich they can afford it.
Then there is your argument about the small businesses effected by increased taxes. You say that a guy makes 250k a year and most of it is wrapped in his business and paying employees, and what is left is what he pays himself. That's not true. You think that by raising that persons taxes he might have to lay someone off and it will decrease incentive to take chances, try new ideas and grow his company by adding more employees? That's a myth. Those small businesses get to deduct their employee's. They pay a guy 30k a year and get a tax cut of 2k. that's pretty fair if you ask me. Quit complaining and stop trying to fuck over the less fortunate.

I got this from the source of sources on the huffingtonpost.
"WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama's top adviser suggested to The Huffington Post late Wednesday that the administration is ready to accept an across-the-board, temporary continuation of steep Bush-era tax cuts, including those for the wealthiest taxpayers.

That appears to be the only way, said David Axelrod, that middle-class taxpayers can keep their tax cuts, given the legislative and political realities facing Obama in the aftermath of last week's electoral defeat."

Axelrod is a straight shooter. I believe everything he says.

You're so blinded by your ideology you can't realize both sides have been fucking Americans up the ass for a long time. The fact you actually refer to MSNBC and Huffington Post as your resources for information nullifies your statement completely.
