Ouch, and I'd like to think they were just bullshitting. I've never heard of of such a matter, and for three years while an Army Major I was the Adjutant General (personnel, Top Secret Control Officer, etc) for the DOD's Field Command, Defense Nuclear Agency at Sandia Base, now part of Kirtland AFB, NM.

And years earlier as a LT, I often escorted nuclear warheads to/from their launching sites, both overseas and in the United States; I always had armed guards with me and our cargo, and classified orders, but nothing has ever been known to me about what your gate guards told you --if such was true, it was probably classified and should never have been mentioned to ya's. IF they were telling the truth, I think I would have known about such a policy and I would have been shocked and made some inquiries/noise about it, and I suspect that the Pentagon would be upset, too.

Let's hope it was BS. There's no room for such a policy anywhere in our military.

YIKES!!!!

No wonder you post from a anon profile. If you'd at least post as the real you I could maybe, maybe have some respect as everyone as the right to their own opinions.

But you're just a scared little fuck troll GFY!

They didn't tell us. The Navy told us. In fact, I think it was probably told to the marines by us rather than the other way around.

New rules went into effect after the Pueblo incident which were designed to guarantee that an enemy would never be allowedto get a hold of classified information because someone had not destroyed it. A whole lot of our classified info was in our heads which meant that the plan was to kill us rather than allow us to be captured.

Which is exactly why they wouldn't have been told up front.

I am just telling you what we were told during training. Could have been an old salt bullshitting us but we did hear it more than once from more than one source. Still doen't mean it wasn't bullshit, there are plenty of "urban legends" within the military

SMILES!!!

For those that don't know, Smiles is a game where a bargirl gets under the table and gives a blowjob to someone - whoever "smiles" has to buy everyone else a round of room temperature painted-label San Miguel beer. I was still a Pollywog the first time I played that game. Losing never felt so good...

Olongapo City was a small town of rattan papa-san furniture stores, gift shops, restaurants, and mostly wall-to-wall bars and nightclubs, filled with thousands of hookers (especially when Task Forces of the 7th Fleet were in port at Subic Bay) - I always liked going there just before or after the Fleet pulled in.

Those were crazy times. Angeles City is more alive these days since the Navy turned Subic over to the PI government, however Thailand is probably one of the last great bastions of drunkeness and debauchery left from my military daze...

Yeah we played Smiles at a chain of places called Lucy's with a picture of lucy giving Charlie Brown a BJ. They specialized in KNOBERS as they were called and they were damn good at it.
You could even get head while getting a hair cut. When we weren't in olongapoo, we were in Subic City at Club Maramont.
I still remember waking up after an all night drunk on MoJo, don't remember much what happened, just the hangover after

Mahal Kita, Walang Tai!

Olongapo is dead as a party spot. Barrio Barretto now has about 30 bars. Subic City has 5 or 6.

Angeles is still hopping with over 200 bars and clubs, though it's WAY different than back in the day. The bars on Perimeter Road and Santos Street are more reminiscent of the old style clubs. Fields has a number of mega-clubs - huge monstrosities with 200+ dancers on some nights.

I like Barrio Barretto.. still quiet and peaceful (except for the busy highway).

Pricier, yeah - though still cheap as hell. A decent condo on the beach can be had for $400 a month (long term, not vacation rental).

I just lined up a small apartment for a month for $18 a day, a block from the beach. Looking forward to February

Outstanding. When did you serve with the 82nd. I was with them from 1980-1992...when my career was ended from injuries received during Desert Storm.

You are stating here that you were assigned to the 82nd Airborne for 12 straight years?!?

I doubt that even your hero, Pathfinder, was assigned to the same military unit for 12 straight years, let alone you. The Navy BUPERS (Bureau of Personnel) seemed genuinely freaked when they discovered that I had spent nearly four years in the same assignment (due to my having to take over from a Senior Chief, E-8, that was shipped off to alcohol rehab).

Rangermoore's description of his 14 year career seems much more accurate, as most service people change assignments every 2-4 years.

Serving with the 82nd is not an assignment...you must volunteer to serve with the 82nd. It is the only paratrooper division left...and yes I volunteered for the 82nd when I enlisted and served with them for 12 years and would have put in my 30 with them assuming I continued to pass the physical requirements.

After the Korean war Pathfinder volunteered for the 82nd and served with them for six years...before moving on.

For not posting actual proof, TheKingWithNoClothesOn, you are now dishonorably dismissed on this day that honors actual military veterans...

Instead of thanking me for correcting your ignorance about being a member of the 82nd Airborne...you post bullshit and stupid pictures...but of course that is to be expected as you are infamous for posting bullshit and stupid pictures. Your fat deseased ass is dismissed.

Rest assured that I am very much alive (to paraphrase a famous line, your rumors about my passing are very much exaggerated, as are your rumors about Pathfinder, which were long ago discredited).

So please, post proof about your 12 years of continuous service in the 82nd Airborne, if you can.

I'm sure all of the people that actually served in the 82nd would be happy to see it, as would the rest of us.

But wait, you can't even prove that you actually do anything in the adult industry...
