    Baidu Search Engine Traffic (pic)




    Although im not 100% sure what to do with it, Daily traffic seems to be of quality in regards to visits, pages viewed, time on site, bounce, etc...


    but again, they don't seem to be spending any money, lol..

    how is yours doing?
    what are you doing with it?
    are you blocking it?
    are you redirecting it?
    are you keeping it for sake of quality statistics?
    are you keeping it simply for the sheer volume of traffic?

      It could be true that the traffic is never signing up for anything.
      In that case, you can make money with pay per click sponsors that don't count conversions.

                              their spider ignores robots.txt so my bad bot script bans the spider. if i could do something with the traffic, i might change that.

                                  For Baidu specific traffic, I deliver a landing page that is Asian content oriented, with sponsors who cater to various Asian niches. Users then have the option at that point of going to the main pages if they choose to do so.

                                          I use http://www.maxmind.com/app/mod_geoip

                                          I send it all to a random link script so they dont get the same page over and over again

                                          The script redirects them to several different landing pages including ppc and dti sites

                                          It takes a huge load off my servers and I make a few bucks on it

                                                                  Want to make money with Baidu? Well, you're in luck because BIDU happens to be a publicly traded company.

                                                                  Baidu is the Google of China and China has something like 8x more people than the US. Only about 1/3 of the population of China is currently online. China's GDP continues to grow rapidly YOY. Baidu's marketcap is currently less than 1/4 the size of Google's. What does that mean? Hmmmm, well if you're smart, I'm sure you'll figure it out
