Because movie studios finally understood that they can make more money when they premiere film in foreign markets before the US. In the US they need to compete with the 20 or so movies coming out each week, in a foreign market they just need to compete with 2 or 3 local movies coming out that week.
That's only true for big budgets movies though, most of the others have to prove themselves in the US first before they get international distribution..Comment

On my list to seeCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
