David Stodghill Pleads Guilty to Child Molestation Charges

David Stodghill has pled guilty in two child molestation cases in Pennsylvania.

According to court records, in the 1995 case Stodghill pled guilty to Indecent Assault With A Person Less Than 16 Years Old, a misdemeanor, but a felony charge of Aggravated Indecent Assault was dismissed. In the more recent, 2009 case, Stodghill pled guilty to Aggravated Indecent Assault with a Complainant Less Than 13 Years Old, while a misdemeanor Indecent Assault charge was dismissed.

A statement given to police by a woman Stodghill married after he fled to Los Angeles last year may have been the tipping point.

According to Penn Live, Stodghill had "told his new wife about the incidents, including showing her an illicit photo of the most recent victim and pornographic videos of other children, according to court documents. Stodghill had not divorced his first wife when he remarried, so prosecutors could use statements from his second wife against him..."

Penn Live, which broke today's news, adds that Stodghill is scheduled to be sentenced on February 8th, and could get four to eight years in state prison.

Every time he goes to court, they will move him from prison to county jail to court. Then from court to county jail, then back to prison.
