    Canadians: Pro-Israel no matter the cost?

    "Stephen Harper says he'll take a forceful stand against anti-Israel rhetoric no matter the political cost to his government at international organizations such as the United Nations and the Francophonie."

    So what he is saying is I will stand up for Israel even if it means that the world hates Canada.

    Do you think if the world is all saying 'Israel you shouldn't do this' that Canada should be one of the only ones saying 'ANYTHING Israel does is OK' at the cost of our once-upon-a-time integrity in the world?

    Remember to vote, in Stephen Harper's mind Israel >>>> Canada.

                  It's way better than protecting the Muslim that threatening Canada with their 'peaceful' religion. Jews nor Israeli's never threatened or boomed in the name of the Torah as Muslims do in the name of Koran.

                              Israel also has 100 nuclear weapons, something that is never questioned at the UN because it is considered "anti-Semetic" to do so. Is that right? They haven't signed the NPT treaty and are among Pakistan, India and North Korea - the only other countries to not have signed. They don't allow UN weapons inspectors into Israel, something that Iran allows even today.

                              Should we be forfeiting our position as an honest and proud country in this world so that we can allow things like illegal nuclear weapons, the constant aggression towards and murder of Palestinians, the constant breaking of pauses in conflict and supporting a non-elected government into power over a democratically elected government? Is that what Canada is now?

                              That boils me down to the core - do what you want in the Middle East Israel but don't you fucking fuck with Canada - when my family came here we came here because Canada was known worldwide as a place where peace, honesty and fairness were the virtues that made you Canadian. This supporting of illegal occupations and illegal nuclear weapons at the cost of our national identity is killing me. I hate to see it.

It has to do with a nation that is constantly in the world media saying they just want peace. Then they turn around and bulldoze over people's houses, and begin building their own on land that is officially & legally not theirs. They just decided themselves it was their land, but it's not.

                                                                                                                                                                                      It's like China walking into Taiwan, bulldozing over a bunch of houses, and start building their own. Then go on world media stating, "Well, we just want peace with the Taiwanese people".
