Call of Duty Black Op's - Who's getting theirs tonight?
After all the hype, after all the teasers and a commercial featuring Kobe Byrant, Call of Duty Black Op's comes out tonight. The game play looks pretty good. Treyarch says they have been working this one for 2 years. The multi-player looks really good. I like the 'One in the Chamber' idea, that will be cool. Not sure how the whole buying your guns and perks thing will work out. I'll be picking mine up tonight at 12am, who else is going to be getting theirs early?

Ya know, I feel the same way, I used to kick ass playing old school games on the pc, but I just can't play with that damn controller, I try and I try, but my precision just isn't there and it makes life pretty damn hard against these kids that got the controller aiming mastered.
It's kind of a shame that FPS games used to be priority on the pc, but nowadays, companies just don't give a shit about pc any more and cater to consoles, which I guess these days, that's where the money is.
As far as if I'm getting the game, I got 3 - Hardened editions pre-ordered, but I gotta wait till they show up on my doorstep tomorrow.Comment

I was hoping they were going to have limbs flying off like they did in World at War, but nope. Saw a report in the news that 100 copies were stolen from some gaming store back east, guess they couldn't wait.
I can only hope the MP doesn't suck like MW2. Would be nice if Treyarch figured a way to remove boosters from gameplay.Comment

I pre ordered my copy for xbox from Amazon and it was supposed to be delivered today but I got an email that says it will be delayed and I can expect it in the next couple of days. They then refunded my shipping charges which was .99
So I just went to my Block Buster and rented one of the thirty copies on the shelf with a free game rental coupon I had and I'll just play it until mine shows up in the mail.
Seems like early impressions from those that are already playing are very positive

I haven't gotten into the single player yet. I jumped right into the MP last night. I like the new set-up. You unlock the guns, but you have to buy the attachments. You also have to buy your perks with COD points you earn as you play. The wager games are cool, played the one in the chamber and its alot of fun.Comment

I got it last night on my way home from the Office, played it for 2-3 hours and so far i am not to impressed.
Maybe i need to get better weapons/attachments and perks to really enjoy it.
