    The news just said that 31 Tea Party

    ...candidates were elected. Is that correct? I was not aware that there were that many in the race.

      Also tea party backed over 30+ minority candidates, some of which won.

              It doesn't matter. They'll get drunk on power and greed just like the rest of them. It's almost inevitable. They are both seductive and neither is lacking inside the beltway.

                              I don't really follow american politics that closely, but didn't the tea party randomly appear over the last 36 months? That's pretty stellar to have gained ground so quickly.
