And why Damian created these brilliant "porn and beer" videos, if you don't watch them. Hurry up...

[QUOTE=ShellyCrash;17668678]Really? I find Grey Goose to be the most mild / tasteless vodka. Mixed with cran can't really pick it out.[/QUOTE
Agree... For that matter, I would bet that there isn't a person there that would know what kind of vodka is going in a mixed drink. In fact, I bet you could throw an unmarked shot of Popov, Stoli, and GreyGoose/Belevedere/Absolut or any top shelf brand du jour down on the bar and only .01% of the people in the room would know the difference in a taste test. Most vodka is about perception of quality and not actual quality imo... [/end rant] |
I don't understand how Grey Goose is so overpriced and overhyped.
Premium gin, tequila, rum, even cachaca are so much better to mix with. And if it's still about vodka - Akvinta FTW :) |
Thanks for all the feedback - I think we have a solid list of booze.
And Honez, you are right with the signature drink. |
|
Vodka Redbull or Vodka Cranberry are my options.

Like Hone said, keep it to a few staples:thumbsup

I don't understand why people like grey goose so much, it tastes like shit IMO. Try Kettle One, Chopin or Titos if you're going to buy vodka.
