I was really excited about it, and now am disappointed... I guess I was expecting some more action. I haven't watched the last 3 episodes though (haven't had the motivation since the first few episodes were kind of flat, other than the pilot).

I'll end up watching the rest of the season at some point, but right now the show just hasn't captured my interest like I thought it would

A couple of episodes after the first were definitely slow. The last 2 have been great.

Saw the first three chapters, still not "feeling it". Hopefully it will kick in soon.

The Walking Dead on the other hand started with a bang. Literally.

Boardwalk empire was a little slow to start but now half way through the its definitely picking up...dexter hasnt been the greatest especially compared to the last 4seasons...another favorite ive been watching this season is Eastbound and Down season 2, absolutely hilarious!

Agreed.

The series lost alot of momentum coming off the premier. The first few episodes really dragged and we almost stopped watching.

Dexter however I feel has redeemed itself and I'm really likeing this season. I know alot of people were in love with the last season but I kind of felt like the writing got a little sloppy. The Trinity story line was great, but everything else really suffered. Minor characters and their story lines took alot of left turns and they didn't always make sense.

I feel like they took another easy way out with dealing with the two older children, seems way too convienent, but the rest I like. Someone needs to feed the actor who plays Quinn a few big macs though. Gaunt men are kinda creepy, he looks like he's doing the Carson Daily thing. I don't get that.

Love the show... getting a good stew requires slow cooking the ingredients and now that Meyer Lansky has been introduced adds some serious flavor to the mix...

Let the battle for AC begin!

I hadn't seen Boardwalk Empire yet but had been looking forward to it the entire month before it aired. I did a marathon starting yesterday evening and ending after midnight. Watching it that way was awesome and I love the show Walking Dead was amazing too, highly recommend that.

Boardwalk is great but they make lucky Luciano look like a pussy when in reality, he was the largest mob boss of all time.

Yeah, that's been bothering me too. I think if they are going to take such liberties with it they should have given him a ficticious name, like they did with the main character, Nucky Thompson being a fictionalized version of Nucky Johnson.

I know alot more about Luciano growing up in Jersey than I do about Capone, but I imagine they are probably taking similar liberties with his character as well.

After seeing the first episode of The Walking Dead and not even bothering with the past 3 episodes of Boardwalk that are waiting for me, I'd have to disagree.

Great show and great TV nudity. Every episode has more hot natural ass than the last.

And the storyline and charter development isnt half bad either.

I agree 100%. I stopped watching Dexter after the one where Julia Stiles tried to shoot the guy. Her terrible acting made me roll my eyes so much I was afraid they would fall out of my head. Combine that with the sloppy writing of last season and the way-too-convenient dumping of his wife and kids, and I'm just done. Dexter used to be my favorite show.

Ya, she is a horrible actress.

Boardwalk Empire seems to be an acquired taste. The first episode was great then it really got boring. Last episode was better though.

He became that but here he is still young, and regardless of creative licenses, I think his character arch is pretty obvious that he is going places

B.E. started slow for me.. I think I was expecting something more like The Sopranos... but I'm really enjoying it now.. Especially this weeks episode. Loved the little speech Jimmy gave the guy in the dinner.
