Most Assholes that use the race card use it at white people.
The way I was brought up rejects racism. I don't judge people on anything but their actions, rhizome's actions shows he's an idiot

Well then you'd be royally fucked. The days when you could walk into Picasso arm-in-arm with all the industry's players, sporting a perfectly trimmed pornstache and tailored Hawaiian shirt are nothing but faded memories slowly vanishing like tears in the rain.

You're not answering the question bitch, does hating one person that's black make you a racist?

How many seats went back to being red? That is the most telling number.

A lot of seats turned from red to blue in '08 because of Bush's low approval rating coupled with Obama hysteria. Did they just return it to what it has always been or was this election a real wakeup call?

I'm suffering through a politics hangover and do not even know where to go digging for the answer.

I want to know how or better yet, why a bunch of anti-capitalists ( 12clicks & Vendzilla obviously excluded ) gather on a business forum? To what productive end?

Or is this not really a business forum?

Once you reach our level of public provided wealth, from never paying taxes and getting paid by the gov to do nothing, you can sit here on gfy all day and poke fun of all you slave working fools pretending to be capitalists with any influence.

Nope... it's not a business a forum, It's where the industry meets, to fuck around mostly and sometimes talk some business. Most Industry business forums don't allow politics on the main forum.

Huh, what? Who hates a black person? What black person? You can hate anyone you want, nothing to do with racism. But to deny that racism is closely tied to a backwards myopic conservatism is just plain ignorant.

Democrats have been in power for 4 years controling the house and senate, how many affiliate programs and pornsites have closed down during that period?

In a politcal thread, you came at "ME" with Racism, why?

If you are talking bout the Tea Party, why did you attack me?

The Tea Party was proven that less than 5% were racist by the signs they carried using a study on the washington post, that's less than the national average. It was the liberal media that focused on them and it was the washington post that reported on it

So answer the question or shut the fuck up

So answer the question, I mean we were better off during Bush in this industry if you want to question it

How many Affiliate programs have shut down during the last democrat controlled 4 years?

Everyone says the GOP are the boogie men of our industry, but the fact is when the economy is good, our business is good, when it suffers, we suffer

DaddyHalbucks 11-03-2010 04:51 PM

Nope.

B. Hussein Obama said the people are only unhappy with the economy.

"AT A Republican victory party suffused with vengeful glee, the man who bodysurfed the anti-establishment wave to become the next speaker of the US House of Representatives was looking very establishment.

Even though it was predicted, it was still a shock to see voters humiliate a brilliant and spellbinding young president who'd had such a Kennedy-like beginning, while electing a lot of conservative nuts and promoting this central-casting congressman as the face of the future: a Republican who had vowed in a written pledge to restore America to old-fashioned values, returning to a gauzy ''Leave It to Beaver'' image that never existed, even on the set of Leave It to Beaver.

Republicans outcommunicated a silver-tongued president who was supposed to be Ronald Reagan's heir in the communications department.

They were able to convince a lot of Americans that the couple in the White House was not American enough, not quite ''normal'', too communist, too radical, too Great Society. All that Ivy League schooling had made them think they knew better than average American folks, not to mention the founding fathers.

The speaker-in-waiting sounded the alarm: the elites in the White House were snuffing out the America he grew up in. It took only two years to realise that their direction for the country was simply, as he put it, ''a contradiction with the vast majority of Americans''.

No one gets to take America away from Americans - not even the American president!

''What the American people were saying is 'Enough!' '' the speaker-to-be told me, as he savoured his own win and his party's landslide victory, which he said was ''a historical tide, not just a partisan election''.

Washington had not been listening, Washington had been scorning the deepest beliefs of Americans, and now that would have to change.

''American people are clearly fed up with what they see as the decay of American society,'' he declared.

The new leader of the House took a more black-and-white approach than the nuanced president. It is enshrined in the US Declaration of Independence that you need the consent of the governed, and the governed did not consent.

Ascending to third in the line of succession to the presidency, he was a working-class kid who rose in the House of Representatives as a rabble-rouser willing to throw bombs to score points against powerful Democrats. Now he'd be helping to run the country, saving it from what he saw as an arrogant and out-of-touch clique of elites.

In the revolutionary flush of the electoral map glowing red, he was working hard to avoid gloating. But he could not resist taking a few jabs at the ''liberal media elite'' distorting things, and a few more at a puffed-up White House that got punished for not paying enough attention to people's anxieties.

''They had an enormous opportunity to bring about change and they failed, and I don't say that harshly,'' he said, adding: ''They really are left-wing elitists and they really thought the country didn't get it and, therefore, it was their job to give the country the government that they thought the country needed, even if they didn't want it. That's the whole history of the health plan.''

There was a lot of talk, as in the campaign, about the misbegotten healthcare plan, about balancing the budget, about lowering the deficit and taxes, about doing something on abortion and bloated government.

The next House speaker felt that the humbled president should take the election as a cue to be conciliatory, and he proposed they talk. He offered to reach out to Democrats who wanted to work with his party, but also noted that the president would not be wise to stand in the way of the conservative agenda.

''I prefer to believe that this president, who is clearly very smart, is quite capable of thinking clearly about a message sent by the American people,'' he said.

He said he would not use his subpoena power to rain down a series of investigations on the Democratic administration. No witch-hunts, he said, only legitimate investigations.

Yeah, that all worked out for Newt Gingrich. The quotes above came from Gingrich, when I covered his heady victory in the 1994 Republican landslide that made him speaker.

And, obviously, the Republican House only pursued ''legitimate'' investigations of Bill Clinton. Sixteen years later, as John Boehner is on the cusp of dethroning Nancy Pelosi to become speaker, the new crop of anarchic conservatives is saying all the same things.

God help the republic."

You mean the war isn't over and we are still in a recession? WTF, The GOP won the election more then 2 hrs ago. According to their statements I thought all this shit would be fixed by now. Don't give me the 'It takes time' excuse. If Obama couldn't use it neither can they. So what's the deal here?

Co-founder Mark Meckler tried to pre-empt expectations among the faithful that Washington would shrink and the federal deficit would close overnight, instead alluding to a “forty-year plan” that the group was busy working out with its members. The plan, according to Meckler, was a highway with four lanes, only one of which was explicitly political. The other three were educational, judicial and cultural.

“All civilizations and empires have fallen because their cultures became decadent,” Meckler said. “We need to lift up conservative culture, family values and wholesome things by supporting conservative musicians, writers, artists and producers.”
