I'm not being funny but every major sponsor I promote wires me my commission.

Why would I give a toss about their few $ fees each transaction? It saves me going to the damn bank and wasting an hour of my time.

All these people whining must be either making a seriously small amount of money, or be doing it for ulterior motives. Admittedly I used to get the money wired to my offshore account but those days are over...heh.

Paypal. I pay my programmers and designers with paypal, simple as that.

Most people here are whining about affiliate payouts.

I'd never be that stupid to entrust thousands of $ in the form of anything other than internationally recognised banking transactions = cheques and wires. Finish.

Paypal is free for the receiver and sender pretty much. Huge fees my ass. I pay an adult designer as "design services" - how is there any risk whatsoever? Unless I'm a dumb cunt that says "paying for 20 hardcore anal scenes" in the payment description. (I wouldn't put it past people looking at the calibre of posters on here lately).

Can't get a verified account? All they do to verify is put in a few cents in your bank account (I take it most people in the world can get one of those?) and it's verified. Have you never opened a paypal account?

About wires, not all make min 500$ per month per sponsor to get paid to let say 20 sponsors

I'm zero in loss from the ePass because i didn't let to have more than 100$ sitting on my account

I know, I have probably around $3K-$4K owed to me right now, money sitting in their accounts because of that, but if it ever became an issue and I didn't think it was an ongoing relationship with the sponsor, I'd switch to lower payouts and go the cheque route.

Of course there's also a chance they will all go bust too, so you lose your money that way as well.

Last month i got a cheque... It took me 2 weeks to received and another 4 weeks my bank to give me the cash. I can't get why some individuals leave more than a 500$ in services like paypal or epassporte. I've used epassporte from the start and it saved me lot of time and money for bank fees.

Wires are ok and I use them all the time. Checks are a huge pain to cash here in Sweden, $20 per check in fee + 2 weeks hold on the money, and I have to go to the bank.

paxum/paypal etc are good for receiving money from sponsors you only make ~100 a month or so from.

- depositing a $50 check can cost you up to $25.

International wire - fee is usually $40-50.. so not ok if the program you promote is a small one and makes a sale only here and there
Cheque - fee is low compared to wire (around $15-$20 to cash in, 6 weeks waiting time - 2 weeks till you receive the cheque and 4 weeks till the bank clears it), however it's a pain in the ass.

ePass - low fee's, P2P, VISA CARD, WIRE ($50 fee, but you can accumulate earnings from multiple small sponsors and send them out in once to your bank accuont..)

Other people in other locations, and those who earn smaller commissions do, and it is up to them which of the new epassporte clones they "trust" to help them get paid cheaper and quicker.

I am sure that knowing you don't need to use any of the services, will make them all sleep better at nights.

Getting an international wire in Russian Federation is almost as buying a direct ticket to jail. Especially if that wire is for adult services. Not to mention that you have to declare it everywhere to get your money. Same shit in Ukraine. You have to sell an arm and a leg to get a wire there. Prove your source of income, show invoices, etc etc.

So to sum up, yeah, checks and wires are great. But its really bad for anyone to the east Poland, and to the West of Alaska. Only these guys had like 70% of the money stuck on Epassporte..

Many affiliates make small amount of sales with many different sponsors. Paying for wire transfers adds up when your looking at 10+ payouts.

Paypals not free, its works out to about 1 day a months salary to receive.
unless you get paid by echeck, that's free but takes a few days to clear.

Still prefer it over checks, but wire are the easiest.

It doesn't mean that Russia and Ukraine is two of the biggest sources of webmasters, it just means that a large % of webmasters in those countries use epass for the reasons you stated. Where as the large amount using it in the US was probably to try to avoid paying taxes. There is no reason anyone in the US had to use epass, they could have received checks and deposited them with no costs.

Generally these people are balking at it because they're doing their best to avoid paying any taxes on the money they're earning. That's why they don't want means that can be easily tracked.
