I see on a bunch of sites logos these days, the use of home electronic images, some even with the names like sony, etc showing.

Are people just yanking these images from the manufacturers and using them in graphic design or is there a place to license this type of photo stock? thanks! |

I seriously doubt if any of those mfrs would license an official photo, and they could, if they wanted, sue over violation of their trademark. Just because they could it doesn't follow that they will.

IMHO, I do not think there is a place to license images with Brand names such a Sony, Panasonic, Etc. My guess is that some people lifting these images from their sites. If you do so, at least lbur out the brand name, but that is just MHO.
