2much.net is just a configurable white label where you can sign up your own models.
you DO NOT have access to the source code, or even the servers. you are tied to 2much for life.
www.CamScripts.com is a basic solution, full PHP script for $200
they have a nice viewport with transparent chat window over the video.
all the others available are simply terrible!
there's an ok $5000 flash script, forget the name but no source code.Comment

That's true about the source code, it's very jealously guarded by our head programmer Hidden Dragon mouahah... but you do have access to the servers - where did you get that?
LiveCamNetwork 4.0 is SaaS, or Software as a Service, which has advantages and disadvantages.
One of the disadvantages is getting very specific individual function customizations, but we're working to change that with each version upgrade... For example, we're implementing a "token" system now which will allow our site-oprator customers to choose the dollar value of tokens as well as the naming convention for the tokens (you can call them tokens or "credits" or "CamBucks" or whatever)... and so on.
We don't offer a design CMS - though it's completely customizable if you have the skillz - but you gotta know your stuff or get someone who does... otherwise as MachineGunKelly sez
But that used to be truer than it is now - we've moved towards a .css-driven template that allows for much easier layout and graphical customizing for designers. But it can still be a "cunt" depending on the working style and habits of the design/er.

We give you FTP access, but not root access. If you want this you can easily setup LiveCamNetwork on a sub domain of your own existing site. No root access necessary.
Not true. The "License" is tied to us for life. You are completely free to transfer the license at any time you like.

They offer a very nice solution I'm sure, but there are some very big differences in the programs.

Yes, I'll agree with you there. Some new webmasters have a hard time skinning our software, and even some experts have a hard time for a few reasons.
To get around this, we offer free skinning for you. All you need to do is provide us with an image of what you want your site to look like in PSD format, and then we do the rest for you at no extra charge, or we can refer you to website designers who know our system and can do a good job for you.Comment
