      Probably not as the magic of the c64 is gone.... the c64 should be were it's at now...you cant beat the experience with a Linux version..

        My first PC was in 1984 I bought a used IBM PC jr with a extra floppy drive and a whopping 64 or 128MB of ram (can't remember for sure but just remember it had the most ram you could get a 13" CRT..

        I was 14 and loved learning BASIC.. I told myself years later that if I had stuck with PCs I'd be very well off today but I didn't actually get online till 98" and didn't learn how to make money till 2001

            here is what it looked like.. I don't remember the specs but you see the 2nd floppy drive and the thing on the right of the 2 floppy's that connects them is the extra ram I had..

            IBM PCjr (IBM PC Junior) A floppy disk-based home computer with an Intel 8088 CPU and a chiclet keyboard, released in November 1983. The PCjr could be expanded to have two floppy drives and 640 kilobytes of RAM using sidecars. Some even had a mouse and could run drawing programs with popup menus.
