I know there were a couple of sites, eg. IQSeek, where you would pay a flat-rate amount per year to have a particular keyword (as opposed to pay-per-click), I'm not sure it's the one you're thinking of though. WG would know, he knows all.

Very interesting business model. By allowing webmasters/entrepreneurs to own keywords, they are also incentivizing these people to DRIVE TRAFFIC to the zibzoom search engine.

A 3d partycentric search engine. I like the concept. Definitely cheaper than building a mass base (anyone remember the BING $100M ad campaign?). Should be interesting to see how it pans out.

Was that the one where you owned the keyword and when a user entered the keyword rather than a URL in their browser, they are taken to the site?

There are several different levels but the basic level is free to join, then you can buy keywords and you own them and they sell them just like google does and you earn 6% comission on ALL revenue that word generates, or you can simply buy keywords and flip (resell) them to others that might want them. I have a shitload of great words and terms so farr. Also IF you want you can pay a small 1 time fee to upgrade and then you can even make money off the matrix of people under you, but you don't have to do that. The auctions are real time 24/7 very cool stuff. IF this takes off then you have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor. Just think about the math...6% for life for a word or term you bought for 1-10.00 bucks.

To those that say theres not enough info, they have a shitload of info all over the site also every thursdaynigh they have a live conference call wher you dial in and actually speak to the powers to be. Look its just a good opportunity to try something out that is cool, free and has the potential to make huge bucks. Hey I've been involved with this for only 3 weeks and have brought in just over $1,600.0 bucks and it's not even 100% live yet.

OH well Iam gonna get back to the auctions and see what I can pick up real quick.
