Those promos have now been going for so many months that they are almost not promos any longer but more and more intregrated part of the affiliate program. Either because of fierce competition or because of bad imagination in thinking up new/different promos.

If you get the webmaster affiliate program back on track ( that what Mickey toke from us, you can give back ) and restore faith to those webmasters who are pulling links since Mickey is cleaning ship, you would be saving time on GFY posting these " Look we have re-invented the wheel again " threads that are so utterly boring and show of no creativity, i think almost your ship stranded on the beach and you want us to pull you back in the water again with all those copyrighted highjacked whales you have floating around.

Their real problem is that they allow sanctioned cookie stuffing via popups from tube sites so some douchebag with an illegal tube can send a gazillion hits to them and even if the surfer does not buy that day the cookies dont get overwritten, so if that same surfer a week or two later decides he actually does want to pay for a camshow and does a google/yahoo search and my site comes up and he goes through and buys time, the douchebag that cookie stuffed the shit out of LJ gets credit for the sale.

There are other issues as well but I will say I have made money with them so I wont slam them totally but IMO thats the biggest, most glaring fuckup in their program is them allowing cookie stuffing via popups, which lets face is all that it is. They say they dont allow cookie stuffing but what else can you call a popup from a tube where there is a 1 in a 10,000 chance the guy is actually willing to buy something?

Their defense is that the surfer must actually click on the creative to get cookied but put some free pussy in front of the average shmuck and of course they are going to click... that doesnt mean they will actually buy anything. Thats a whole lot different than someone actively searching google or a webcam oriented site with their credit card in their mouth and their pants around their ankles looking to plunk down some cash for a camshow.
