I was just thinking as I clicked this thread "Let me guess: cancer"
Sure enough, cancer.
Bob Guccione, a seminary school dropout who revolutionized the adult entertainment industry in the late 1960s as the publisher of Penthouse magazine, filling its glossy pages with photographs of nude co-eds in explicitly erotic positions, and selling millions of copies in the process, has died of cancer age 79.
RIP Bob.
He put out a quality product back in the day. Wanked it to his work more times than I can remember, back in the 70's and 80's.
Penthouse always had the girls that looked like the ones you wish you could take to a concert then have nasty sex with afterwards.... in the parking lot
I find it sad that he had so much and then lost it all. He seemed to go downhill after his 3nd wife, the one he ran Penthouse with, died of cancer. It's kind of like he quit caring. From everything I've read about him, he was hell to deal with and that probably had a lot to do with his failure - well, that and the Internet. Both he and Hugh Hefner tried to ignore the Internet but it just didn't work.
Penthouse provided me with quality wanking material for years, until I graduated to hard-core porn. Great pictorials and really hot letters. A quality mag back in the 70s. RIP, Bob.
