Fly, you have some valid points. Well first of all, all the big traffic sources do get paid up front, and it's been that way from way back in the mid 90's when I started. But this current pimpdog, choker deal is wrong. Choker is backing out of a Valid traffic offer??...that is just wrong,....If he spams his traffic programs, and a potential customer is willing to make a purchase, then he should accept it??..or am I missing something here?

you are just missing the part that chokers traffic wont work on sponsors.. it only works on trades and circle jerks. Thats why he is affraid to sell to me.

It's not really a drama. This particular situation is pretty cut and dry. Choker spams his traffic program here, and that is totally fine, But a new potential customer (pimpdog) is offering to buy 100k prepaid traffic, and choker is declining to do the deal??....so what is up with that??....Not good biz in my book....:(

Yes, big traffic sources. Because before the software wasn't there to negotiate/manage all the multitudes of small/large scale traffic deals -- when you buy from Choker you're getting a mix of traffic from hundreds of sites of all sizes... This is new technology.

Not that I care -- but I don't see Choker backing out. I don't think p1mpdog is blacklisted from the Choker system yet :) The instructions are set out on Choker's site to buy -- and Choker has his own message board... what's the problem?

1:8000 conversion - you said this yourself.

8000 uniques costs $8 with Choker's system (min buy 50k = $50)

1 conversion earns $40 with Adult Platinum.

40 - 8 = $32 total profit

This has been my thoughts from day one. People say will you have a teen gallery and mature banners. Well the surfer clicked on the mature banner, why did they click on it? I also think 250 to 300 RAW click's you should be getting a sign up, if you don't change the sponsor. I will let'm go until 500 or 600 sometimes.

my 1:8000 was just a guess.. I have heard it did worse.. but who cares.. this isnt the point. the point is, I had a valid offer for him that could help out by posting the results and he refuses.. it would be great advertising for him if his traffic was actually profitable.

All personal feelings aside, I would think that if Choker has faith in his traffic he would love to take this deal and you guys can post real results rather than all this speculation, just think - if this traffic converted decently wouldn't we all be jumping up and paying for your traffic?

Not one thing wrong with Chocker not wanting 2 do business with Pimpdog, it's his business. I've done the same thing in a main stream business for years, I've given people there money back because I changed my mind and didn't want there business.

Okay, understood, but remember it could get as bad as 1:35000 and you could still turn a $5 profit on his system with a typical sposor like AP.

I have no doubt the Hun traffic may be better than Choker's but surely that's why he charges $500 for a 24hr top spot and Choker charges $1 / 1000 hits. I really don't think we are comparing apples with apples here.

If you do this kind of test you have use the real figures, such as:

- How many uniques did you HUN gallery get from the listing?
- How much did you pay for the listing?
- How much did you earn?

etc. etc. etc.

Then do exactly the same with Choker's traffic.

Why do you need his "permission" to sell you his traffic? Just go to the site and buy it like everyone else does, or get someone to buy it for you.

Ok, wake up fully before posting. He's talking about 1:8000 clicks to the sponsor I'm sure, not one sale every 8000 hits to the gallery. Say you're pulling 5% clicks from the gallery, that's 160k from choker per sale. Sounds about right too me. Everyone who has good things to say about his traffic only uses it to trade to other sites, not make sales. Wheather he knows it or not, most of his traffic is of the robot race, as opposed to real human surfers.

Yeah I was going to suggest having someone purchase the traffic for you PD.

Do it pimpdog, buy 100k and post your results here. Use a proven gallery that sells well with other tgps, Then post your results here. I'm guessing 1 sale, or none.

His traffic is really good. Im gonna make a few more gals and if that goes as good as it has been going I might buy a new category (if possible).

Why the bad attitude? have you tried choker? Why do ppl bash without trying. I did very well myself. I had 12 sales to adult platinum from 133k hits from choker. I'm not complaining at all. Why don't you make a gallery, buy traffic.. and if you can't make your money back + intrest, come here to bash him or go flip burgers.
