Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
Don't have pictures of my actual rifles, I could dig some off Google images though. I'd take some, but I keep them out on my old ma's farm in his gun cabinet as y apartment isn't exactly a great place for storing weapons.
870 Wingmaster
tikka .270
schultz & larsen m60 7x61 - hard to find pics, it's kind of a rare rifle. buying brass for this thing is fucking expensive, but god damn does it shoot flat for a long ways out.

It's not quite a sniper, lol. It doesn't reach out near as well as the 7x61. it's a good all around hunting rifle though. I got a Bushnell 3200 Elite scope on mine. Nice and light, so freehand shooting is easy. Good for taking running shots. I've made some highlite reel shots with that bitch. It's my go to hunting rifle for most occasions, and has got a couple dozen kills under it's belt now. Only thing is, that my brother bought the exact same rifle, and his shoots like fucking shit. Spits stray bullets all over the place. Needs to see a gunsmith bad. So I'm a little iffy on the quality of the rifle overall, though I love my own. I take the 7x61 when I think I'll need a little more stopping power, or that extra couple hundred yards of range. It is a heavy fucking rifle though, needs a rest or stand to lean on. Incredibly accurate though. Even at long range. If I'm going into the bush I take my dad's 30-30 winchester with an open sight.
You're still a douchebag, but that Thompson is sweet.
Yeah, I know but the Thompson sure shoots nice. By the way, I am in one of G. Gordon Liddy's Stacked And Packed calendars but I'll leave you to figure out which image is of me.

What do you usually hunt? My friend over the road goes hunting. He shoots fox or rabbits usually I like rabbits.
I the US, there are lots of geese, Ive seen Gordon Ramsey hunt geese on a US series of Ramseys Kitchen
that's 3 870's! i'd want sally's glued to my hands when i shot that bastard though eh! jeez, shortie + pistol grip, dang.
Recoil is not that bad, about like a .44 Magnum on steroids but remember with this kind of firearm, your target is generally less than 25 ft away, so you don't have to use a heavy load. 7 1/2 birdshot or No. 6 work just fine. Blow a hole you can walk through at those ranges. Got to hang on to it though! LOL!

i sent many thousands of shot through my 870, no need for the lesson.
in previous years, i was a a pretty big gun guy, used to buy them for my employees for fun/bonuses, whatever,
here's a cat that used to work for me with the bushmaster ar-15 w/ laser site that i got him for closing a deal.

I generally hunt what i can eat. So a lot of big game and birds. I generally hunt deer on a yearly basis. But when the draws work in my favor I hunt moose, elk, & antelope too. I'm not a big fan of shooting geese, because I don't like eating them. I do a shitload of wing shooting for ducks though. I love shooting Teal. They bomb in fast and furious, making them a fun target, and they're pretty damn tasty too. They make good jerky when soaked in a salt brine and smoked over hickory.
Depending on the year I'll go out for the odd rabbit hunt in the fall. Especially when they snow is holding off and the rabbits are turning white before the snowfall. They stand out like a sore thumb in the bush and make themselves and easy target. My dad's got an old over-under 410/.22. I think it's a Savage. Works great for hunting rabbit and grouse at the same time. He's got an old single shot 410 too, works good for rabbits or grouse & partridge.
My guns are currently in a cabinet over 1000km away. Hardly worth the drive to snap a few pics for GFY...
Exactly! In my case, my firearms are down in the vault and shooting pics, uploading them and doing the whole Photobucket or website thing would be a real pain in the ass!

That must be really cool to eat your own hunt. At least the food is fresh! Nice one
