Yeah I think IBill will be gone sooner - they are the processor who I think is closest to the situation DMR was!

Sharky, yeah I gave you a preview - thing is I was not happy with the setup - so I did not launch, I have some things I need to work out - including back-up processing and such. It will get there though....

Why do you think so many people are sticking with iBill? I heard iBill brought 200 blank checks to Vegas tgo pay webmasters who weren't paid yet and complaining. Last I heard, they only used 9 of em... Seems like there is a lot of bitching in public, but when it comes down to it people aren't bitching to iBill.

When I was starting my affiliate program I simply did not have much idea how everything should look like (I had many traffic leaks in the tours etc.).
But luckily I was approached by some webmasters who helped me out - they wanted to promote my site because they just liked it and they were really very helpful with some new marketing ideas.

I'm always open for any suggestions how to make my preview/tours better for the partners - in the end the more money they make on my site the better for me.

And about going down... well in case of 'one girl amateur sites' it's rather not the financial side of it. It happens when the girl gets bored with this biz or (more often) she splits up with the partner who helped her with the site (or just approved of what she was doing).

thats how we started but realized we'd better focus on the one thing we did well instead of the shotgun approach :)

So we ditched everything else and focused on privatefeeds.com

That was three years ago and we couldnt be happier ;)

Um.. What I would suggest is send to per sign up, and take the quick money. It's like winning the lotto.. You have the option of getting paid half as much up front, or the whole amount spread over 30 years, or whatever.. Say you win $100mil, and opt out for $50mil. You could take the $50mil and reinvest it in another stuff and make a lot more than $50mil more in 30 yrs.. Same concept :)

Get your quick per sign up $ and reinvest it in other stuff to make more money.. make it mushroom.. then just get your own sites or whatever.. shrug.. my :2 cents:

Wtf? How do you figure? Say you start from scratch, paying $30/join.. You won't make $30/join for 3 months, and even if you made it back the first month, it takes a month for you to receive your first processor payment. You owe webmasters two-three weeks prior to receiving this... Uh, please explain... we had to have a lot of $ to start our per sign up..

Set minimum payment to 100-200 ? we still have to get our first check from FreeEzine, as they only pay 200 min., took me ages to get to 100, so I guess we'll never see a check :(

If you set minimum payment to 100 and signups to 25, you need 4 slow webmasters to make 1 signup to pay 1 who has 4. You follow?

Then, as things go better, you increase payout and pay faster.

If anyone had to take a guess, what would you say the percentage of smaller webmasters are using a 3rd party processor such as IBill to do their payouts? It seems that companies such as IBill have little if no checks and balances system and could really screw over a large portion of the WM community by just skimming alone.

Jettis can and will take clients from Europe. I am from Holland and use Jettis..

I can recommend Jettis. They are good people, who know what they are doing. They also have a system (Jumbo) to take care of partner payouts and such.

I can't compare their performance with Globill though, as I have never used Globill.

But aren't these concerns present in Pay Per Sign up progs as well? Do you trust PPS any more than Partnerships? Maybe with partnerships [at least the ones that use a 3rd party processor with affiliate viewable stats] you trade exit/upsell/cross sell traffic for transparency. With PPS it may be the other way around.

funny thing about a lot of this small partnership programs when you ask them for a password to their members area, they say no or they want you to send traffic first. i will send traffic to any small partnership program that acts this way
