There are a lot of very cool people in this industry, but Steve pretty much always goes above and beyond.

There are guys who don't agree with the way he does business, but hell, they're not his accountants, or his parents and intelligent people can always disagree.

Steve is a guy who treats his smallest affiliates as well as his largest and every one of us like family (a weird dysfunctional family that sees a lot of naked girls, but family nonetheless).

This year Lightspeed rented a gang of crazy Air Force stunt pilots to scare the shit out of show goers, and instead of sending his biggest guys and teling everybody else to fuck off or send more sign ups, he pretty much kept his pockets open and spent a lot of his own cash to show his affiliates a good time.

While this would be surprising to a lot of people, it's just the way Lightspeed works.

PS - Hey did anybody else meet that guy Jonah's twin brother?

While I didn't go to the show in Vegas ... I have to agree with everything Jimmy just said.

Lightspeed is a top notch act to follow. If anybody in this business wanted to follow an industry leader they would have a hard time keeping up with lightspeed in keeping webmasters happy.

I have been talking about Steve, Lightspeed, and this stunt plane excursion pretty much non-stop since I got back on terra firma, and I am sure I will continue to.

Steve had no real reason to let me fly, but he talked with me a while, and knew I REALLY wanted to do it, and he said it would be done.

I heard him talk at a seminar back in November and came away with the impression that he was a very sincere guy that cared about his webmasters and the members of his sites. This past week has only solidified this impression with me.

Tax write-off or not, I think it was a very cool thing he did, and I know it will top the list of Internext memories for a long time to come . . . . unless he is planning on providing space shuttle rides the next time around

when bags asked me what I wanted to do, I told him to make sure he had fun, not to worry about me. +6 G's and -2.5 G's - you name it, we did it all 2-3 times. He had as much fun as I did because it was no holds barred.

They have cameras on the wings, and in the cockpit, and took videos of the entire flight.

My understanding is that the videos were given to Lightspeed so they could do their thing with them, then they will go back to FighterCombat.com who will then burn it onto DVD and send us each a copy, which i can not wait for
