One thing is for sure, free galleries are saturating the market. They aren't going to go anywhere, I guess there's some kind of money to be made peddling traffic, it's a business of its own.

I also think that the more free galleries there are, the more surfers will be turned off by them. It's like wearing jeans that everybody has. People need something new and exclusive. Never mind the harassing pop ups, etc.

I'm not concerned... the surfer, the paying costumer, the rebill costumer is not hanging out at free galleries. I have my own site, I produce 100% origional content and I know that quality content (and marketing) are the best consistant money makers in this industry.

Free galleries don't bother me. That's not my target market, someone who is too cheap to subscribe to anything is not my ideal clientele.
