              18 months old, I paid $3200 for it. Drives still have 3+ years left on warranty.

              The case maxes out normally at 9, but you could squeeze in 3-7 more by using 4x3 bays instead of 3x3 bays. You can see the case here:

              The RAID card itself can handle 128 devices.

                      The first 1.5TB drives were released by Seagate in July 2008.

                      The RAID card is still a current model and retails for $400.

                      Every component in this computer is still available new.
