I don't think a picture can be "too clear", and at the end it's limited by your eyes. What makes the difference is colors and contrast and how natural they look.

It was pretty decent compared to most of the bullshit coming out these days...

Just a classic action movie without too much bullshit involved

my 65" plasma is pretty nice, though gets a little too dark for some scenes

CPimp 10-11-2010 03:26 PM

I jsut recently was forced to downgrade from a 50" plasma to a 32" LCD because I think the SV card went out on the plasma. Hope to get it back up and running so I can sell it for another 50"... maybe get a 47" LCD... idk yet. Gotta see what size width my entertainment center will hold.

Soon I'll be watching on the biggest HD TV of them all :winkwink:

" World?s Largest HD Screen

Charlotte Motor Speedway, which already touts itself as ?The Greatest Place To See The Chase,? just unveiled plans for a 200-foot-long, 80-foot-tall HD video board, which a Panasonic official believes would measure 40% larger than the Dallas Cowboys $40 million mega screen.

But we?ll leave that up to the Guiness folks as to whether it?ll break the world?s record for world?s largest HD video board. However, it sounds like it will!

?Charlotte Motor Speedway continually establishes itself as a pioneer when it comes to one-of-a-kind, over-the-top facility enhancements that change the game for motorsports fans,? said track Chairman, Bruton Smith.

The track has a history of pioneering. It hosts the longest and one of the most prestigious Nascar events in the Cup series, known as the Coca Cola 600, which is a 600-mile race. It was the first sports facility in the U.S. to offer full-time living luxury condominiums on site. And it was the first modern facility to offer night-time racing.

But those feats aren?t worth of a spot in the Guiness Book of World Records. But, the world?s largest HD screen just might be worthy, weighing in at a whopping 165,000 pounds, and covering an expansive 16,000 square foot area between Turns two and three at the track.

?We?re confident fans will be awestruck,? says James Doyle, President, Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company. "

My 3D Blu-Ray system I got a few months back is hands down my best purchase.

A good movie to get your hands on is called "The Town", it's in the cinema now, it's directed by Ben affleck... Rotten tomatoes gave it 95%,

Fiddy inches!

I have a couple who are friends of mine. They went out and bought a 65 a few months ago.
Anyway, we house sat for them when they went on vacation. I was astounded when I found that their only video source they had for the 65" was a VHS player.

So what? That's your justification for stealing a movie?

Make movies worth buying and people will actually buy them. Make movies that are shit, and rehash good classics fucking them up, and people will just torrent them and that's about it.

P.S. this post isn't in regards to Predator as I've never actually seen it, just a general statement in torrenting movies.

Hey guys, whats the best quality blu rays out there?, ive ordered many on amazon and some are done in a very cheap way, the best picture quality i've gotten so far its with the Earth documental and the blue man group blu ray, the rest is all shit, what do you suggest?

a lot depends on when the film was shot. older films just didn't have the clean glass they have now... mostly a waste to pick up any older films transfered to BD :2 cents:
