    Giving away Vintage LPs

Does anyone want, or know someone that wants, vintage LPs? About 30 of them. The records are in good condition, but the sleeves are only so so.
Inc: Rolling Stones, Hendrix, Beatles, Led Zep, The Temptations, Kansas, Concrete Blonde, Elton John, Kiss, Dead Kennedy's, etc...

I need room and they need a loving home. :-)

You pay shipping, but otherwise they are free.

That's good money your're giving away. I assume you're talking vinyl. Some of the artists you mentioned are selling for $175 on vinyl in mint condition.

Yes, I'm talking Vinyl, but the sleeves are pretty messed up, even though the actual records are good. I'm not sure what the collectability would be...

Take them to a used record store, they will buy them or give you nice store credit for them.

Not a lot of value there, really.
I have my own collection of about 100 LPs and most are in prime condition. Where you'll get value is on special releases, colored vinyl, limited sleeves... Apart from that they aren't worth a whole lot.

Would you want them Chris? I'm clearing out one of the rooms in our place and they are slated to go...

Sounds good, let me know! I just realized there is also a Metallica Album in there as well. They were all stored vertically, so they aren't warped either.

Weird coincidence. Today I saw a lady opening a Metalica album while out shopping and thought it was a rare sight. Odd to see someone talking about it here on the same day. Hmmm. It's not "Ride The Lightning", is it? That would be weirder yet!

You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore or fuck right off. I'll say what I want.

                          Off topic:
Cat Stevens. Is he still on the no-fly list? I remember something about that, but don't recall the resolution.

I have some older vinyl also, but I think I'll just hang on to them for the memories. They don't take up a terrible amount of space. Don't know values. I've seen people say the re-release of Diary of a Madman has reworked bass and drum tracks. Maybe the original is worth something.

                          Good luck
