I am in a same boat

tried twice on ATM send two mails but so far no solution

now about 4% account holders have this problem - at the end of Oct2010 it will be about
8% and so on..

same boat here, just got no clue what to do to be honest.
I was thinking the bank was contacted by ATM to do a expiration check and assuming the bank would have deactivated that option so expired cards would still work.
Hell we paid the fee in Sep, thats lost for now

i dont care about the $35 renewal fee if i can get my 7k [on this acc] out somehow.
it seems i need to call the bank
