It depends on mail server config. You not always get a bounce. Actually a correct mail server configuration is quite rare nowadays.

I have a few thousand bucks in my wallet and emailed them today to wire transfer the money. As of now no response, maybe tomorrow, maybe never. I hope the visa card will work tomorrow to get my visa bucks out.

When I think about this ePassporte situation it smells like the AdultCheck rip off in 2003.

that probably works by loading some image from verification server. They might have image download turned off

or they just don't care and don't read
