Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Is this regarding gambling related domains? ... tried to hijack? The state of Kentucky basically already has - it's not over! That case is winding it's way through the courts. According to the latest articles, the owners must physically appear in court to stop the seizures.

On a related note, eNom (includes most NameCheap customers too, since they're an eNom reseller) has apparently stepped up suspending domains based on accusations alone from a site called LegitScript - NOT court order, but mere accusation is enough to be suspended at eNom / NameCheap.

And while it's easy to dismiss such suspensions as one-offs, see page 2 of that above thread and the link below - domain registrars are under pressure by the U.S. White House administration to voluntarily suspend domains for numerous reasons.

thanks Ron. Jack Conway is the Kentucky AG. We can defeat him by supporting Rand Paul who believes in the Constitution, including the First Amendment and the Fourth when he explicitly states he would not have voted for the Patriot Act and rails against unlawful seizures.
Conway in the senate would be tragic.

If Conway is beaten badly by Rand Paul he will be vulnrable in 2011 to a challenge by Trey Grayson, the current Secretary of State and who Rand defeated in the GOP primary. Domain owners could reach out to Secretary Grayson who I think will run for that office next year.

He is outright lying though in those ads. Rand Paul does not want to cut older folks off what they can get, if you listen to him he says that is unfair and not possible.
what he does say is that the system needs to be solvent and the way to fix it is to change eligibility requirements for younger people and offer higher deductibles or other incentives for medicare
How does Conway plan to fix Social security or medicare? borrowing more money, spending more money, killing more jobs? That is the road to ruin and Rand Paul is courageous enough to stand up and make the argument even when his own party wont.
He has also stated he will bring the U.S Senate to a halt and force them to vote on fixing the mess they have created by raiding Social Security

Oh ok so there is no waste in medicare. Let's just throw money at the system I'm only paying for it. Peoe getign emdicare should STFU they aren't paying for very much of it. It's the yOUNG and WORKING people that pay for the vast majority of it. Most of the money that goes for medicare comes from FICA taxes. Which is a tax that is applies to PAYCHECKS. People on medicare do not get a paycheck.Comment

Doesn't matter. The money they paid in paid for the old people back then. Your FICA taxes don't go into some account with your name on in and is saved for when you retire. That's not how the system works. CURRENT workers pay for CURRENT retiries. So since I'm paying for grandmas medicare I think I get more of say. Grandma pays in by getting some money deducted from her SS check. Of course that money comes from me too. So I'm actually paying TWICE.Comment
